“Great food,Ideal location,Bad service,A bit expensive”
Reviewed 24 July 2014

The location of this restaurant is amazing. Our table was just above the sea.Great food, especially the fish, but a bit expensive.Surely not your average, every-day visiting restaurant. The worst part of our night was definitely the service. We had to ask repeatedly for our drinks and generally the staff wasn't willing to serve.

“The perfect place for a romantic dinner in Spetses.”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

This is a great restaurant if you want to impress your girlfriend! I went there with my boyfriend the last night before our departure and I must say it was a perfect choice.
Everything was tasteful and beautifully presented, the service was excellent and the view just magical! Mourayo is on the deck, almost on the waves! An idyllic spot with a unique scenery!
We ordered a salad, 2 appetizers, a variety of meat for 2 and a bottle wine. All these summed up to 70 euros which is not cheap (obviously) but it was worth it. The food was delicious and every single plate was meeting (and maybe exceeding) our expectations. If money is not a problem for you or if you want something outstanding for a change this should definitely be your one and only choice!

“Amazed by these reviews - great location but very very average”
Reviewed 12 July 2014

Didn't start well as most of the fresh fish was off the menu. The service was slow and patchy - asked 3 times for olive oil and eventually given an empty container, again waited for cutlery and had to ask repeatedly as the food was cooling in front of us. Steak a bit tough served with 'school dinner' style veg and stodgy bland crawfish risotto. Lots of 'greeters' hanging around smoking and drinking and a couple of waitresses running around like headless chickens half doing things. it was a busy night but neither the food or the service was anything above average.

“Friendly restaurant in the old port.”
Reviewed 22 October 2013

We ate at this restaurant as it was close to the hotel and liked the menu. They didn't have a child's menu but were more than happy to make pasta in a cheese sauce even though this was on their menu. Ordered our drinks but forgot to bring them to us straight away so let us have them 'on the house' - very generous. Food was really well cooked and presented, skewered lamb was very tender and there was plenty of it too. Pudding was delicious - chocolate pie with ice cream.
