We have just returned from another relaxing holiday at Troulos Bay Hotel. Service and attention to detail were spot on,as ever. The only irritation for us and other guests was the non policing of the pool and sun beds. On a daily basis non residents were using the facilities and disturbing the tranquility that is part of TBH. I am sure that the owners will rectify this for next season.

In our opinion the best hotel in SKiathos.

If you like a hotel in town, full of 18 - 30's with an all night disco then don't come here. However, if you like a room that is superbly clean (with a shower curtain!), wonderful service from brilliant staff, great breakfast but rather uninspiring dinner, in a hotel bang on the beach, then this is for you. Does seem to attract the 'mature' age group who like it quiet and disappear to bed at 10pm though.

just returned after a gap of 12 years. The hotel is still as fabulous and has had a lot of money spent on updating bedrooms, the restaurant and the new pool is beautiful - but who would want a pool when one of the best beaches I know adjoins the hotel!! - the same family own and manage the hotel to perfection and really can't do enough to make your holiday. A real gem in a great location on an idyllic island.

Recently returned and had a wonderful time. Our first time and we are sure to return. The hotel has been refurbished over the winter with a new swimming pool and rooms. Ask for rooms 318-319 waking up to fabulous views. The hotel is faultless nothing is to much
trouble. The reception and restaurant staff were brilliant and always made you feel special. Amazing that you can have your meal, drink all evening run up a tab and pay at the end of the evening. Took a hairdryer : one in our bathroom. Flat Screen Television in the room but only showing BBC World News everything else was in Greek. Television in the bar only showed Eurosport but showed Premier League Football at weekends. Menu was a bit limited for us but the restaurant was full every night. So we travelled into Skiathos Town for a better range. Found a restaurant in the back streets of the Old Town where you eat in the street. Only in Greece. Meat is all spit roasted Pork Lamb Chicken Etc very reasonable. The bus service is appx one every 15 mins. Fare each way was E1.80 so for a couple appx £6.00 return. Cabs are always looking for a fare early evening E8.00 for four people. The sunbeds on the beach do not belong to The Troulos so you pay E7.00 for two sunbeds and a pole with a twig top. Thats E49.00 a week. A very good earner. The twelve sunbeds and parasols around the pool are free. Koukanaris has changed now with loud music and no longer the peaceful beach that it was. Sunbeds & brollies were E8.00 per day. Reading these reviews and the holiday brochure we thought that the area of Troulos was going to be a lot bigger. Next to the hotel you have bars / restaurants that are open all day but these were not used by ourselves. We found the pool bar in the hotel had very good snacks, drinks and ices.

Stayed for 10 nights at the Troulos Bay Hotel and enjoyed every minute. Hotel is in a quiet location on a sandy beach with sunbeds and umbrellas charged locally. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. Rooms clean and simply furnished with balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast limited but adequate. Had a really relaxing holiday and will definitely go back.

Having read previous reviews we felt this could be a great holiday and we were not disappointed .
Fabulous location, food , accommodation and staff .
We were on holiday with friends who came from Canada to join us so were hoping this would be a holiday to remember for all of the right reasons and can honestly say it exceeded our expectations.
The staff were welcoming and very helpful , answering all our questions and meeting any requests.
We would go back in a heartbeat.
