I have just got back after a week's stay at this hotel. The hotel it's self is lovely, from it's reception desk you can see the ever so inviting pool and bar, but's it's the staff that makes this hotel so amazing. From the moment we arrived Olga greeted us with a warm smile, and asked us to leave our passports at the desk where they would check us in and we could go straight to the bar and have a complimentary drink of our choice (much nicer than form filling!) Every member of staff was friendly and approachable including the owner who could be often be found at the bar chatting with his guests. Our room was well presented with a lovely balcony, looking over the pool. We only ate in the hotel at breakfast (which was included) and lunch. Breakfast had a good choice, and lunches were delightful, Tuna Salad, Greek Salad, burgers all very, very tasty. And to top it all, we were only a 5 min walk into Skiathos Town with all its bars and Tavernas I really do not have a bad word to say about this hotel, if I was you, I would book now!

I stayed at this hotel for a week in May with my Mum and we had a fantastic time. I have travelled all over the world and stayed at many hotels but I can honestly say I have never experienced service as good as at this hotel. The staff and the Manageress Olga could not do enough for you and from the moment we arrived we felt very well looked after. The hotel is lovely, lots of art work everywhere, extremely clean, nice touches like candles and lanterns around the pool at night. Very comfortable cushioned sun loungers around the pool and linen table clothes on the restaurant tables at night. The food in the restaurant is very nice and they have a daily special fixed price three course menu (in addition to a la carte) which is very good value. The bar is lovely and the drinks are not expensive. This is the first place in Greece that I have actually bothered to spend anytime in the hotel bar. The hotel is also well situated and only a ten minute flat walk from Skiathos town. I really enjoyed Skiathos town itself, it is quite upmarket, large selection of restaurants, bars and shops. All the locals are very friendly and we did not find it expensive. We used the local bus service which is very regular, cheap, and reliable to visit other beaches on the island. Overall fantastic holiday and hotel. My Mum has already booked to come back next year but this time with my Dad!

We stayed at La Piscine Art from 30 May to 13 June 2012. We had arranged to be married at the Bourtzi in Skiathos Town on 7th May. The wedding was fabulous and the hotel made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door. The staff were delightful and made our stay so special. We had help from Olga arranging our reception which I have covered in a seperate review. At the end of the two weeks we didn't want to leave and we will certainly be back again! The best hotel we have ever stayed in.

Room Tip: The rooms with a pool view have the best view but the rooms at the front of the hotel overlooking th...

My wife and I had a week's holiday at this wonderful hotel.
From the moment we arrived we knew that we had made an inspired choice. Olga, the Front Office Manager, greeted us with a genuine welcome, arranged for our bags to be taken to our room and escorted us to a poolside table where a drink was provided. Olga took an interest in our wellbeing and guest satisfaction throughout our stay.
Our spotless room was comfortable, if not huge, with a large bathroom whose bath was unusually small. Although the room was directly above one end of the bar, it did not cause us any problem with noise.
The hotel is extremely well run, clean, comfortable and staffed by lovely people all of whom seem happy in their work. In addition to Olga, we have fond memories of the friendliness and efficiency of Eva and the 'waiter twins'.
The hotel boasts a fine restaurant, The Crazy Cow. Food and service here were excellent; particularly memorable were a mushroom starter and a beef in mustard sauce main course.
Breakfast is available over a three hour period and is varied, plentiful and includes some hot, cooked items.
The pool is lovely, although not particularly child friendly; sunloungers and huge sofas around the pool were plentiful and comfortable.
We understand the the hotel is changing to an adults-only policy from the 2013-14 season, which seems sensible.
We rarely return to a hotel or resort (so many places to see, so little time, etc) but we firmly intend to go back to Skiathos and La Piscine Art.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view.

Had an excellent holiday. We stayed a week in one of the two suite rooms (301) and met some lovely people in neighbouring rooms. Well worth paying the extra as the room was huge; two balconies and a separate sitting room.

Immaculately clean and modern - think it had recently been refurbished.

There are loads of repeat guests - and my do they like to tell you they've been before - several times. We hadn't - we were outcasts!

Everybody's main aim at breakfast was to reserve their chosen poolside chair - god forbid somebody sat on THEIR sunbed. Funny! Don't think any of them ventured outside the hotel!

Don't bother at the poolside to listen to the competitiveness - get the boat or the bus to neighbouring beaches which are lovely, breezy with loads of atmosphere. €8 for two chairs and an umbrella. Also don't dismiss the Thai massage people that wander up and down the beaches. We had some of the best massages we've ever had - and we've had many.

The food at the hotel; the crazy cow restaurant, is by far the best we ate whilst we there. Can also recommend Limeria and The Final Step which were good but not as good.

Overall an excellent hotel with excellent faultless friendly staff. I can't say we'll be back as we never go anywhere twice .. but if you're thinking of going to Skiathos definitely book into this hotel - I can guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Very attentive staff and lovely relaxing surroundings. Nothing is a problem at this hotel and if I go back to this island will definitely stay there again. I would advise having an upgrade as this was the only downside for me being at the rear of the hotel and not much outlook.

Breakfast was very good and food hot and fresh with enough choice. Prices were very reasonable in both the restaurant and bar for a hotel of this standard.

Room Tip: I would ask for a pool-facing room. The hotel is not the type of place to take children - they woul...

Picked this hotel for our second trip to Skiathos, mostly for its central location in the heart of the town, but also because it had had such good reviews already on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed: a lovely poolside area, with lots of lovely sofas and comfortable sun loungers, it was also lit by candles in the evening, with a lot of attention to detail. Whilst our room was a little dated, with no view, this was more than made up for by the welcome we received from all of the staff at the hotel, who could not have done more for us. A particular 'thank you' to both Olga and Eva for making us so welcome. We are already planning our next trip. Rosemary & Stephen
