If you havn't stayed in a Cabinn you don't know what minimalistic is. If you like the concept, you will love it, if you demand space you will hate it, if you have the slightest claustrophobia, forget it. On the positive side: a standard room is cheap, staff is friendly, you get free wifi, room is clean, and there is a TV with a fair selection of channels in different languages. But watching TV for a while you may break your neck as the TV is placed in a corner just under the ceiling. The room has a (narrow) bed, a chair and a small desk. You may boil water for coffee or tea, so what is the problem? The room size may be compared with a cell (I've never been to prison though). The greatest challenge is the bathroom, or cabinet with toilet, small sink and shower. It all work nicely, but plan your actions carefully. Breakfast has the necessities, but nothing more (no eggs). Checking in - and out - is efficient, and beverages can be bought at the reception desk. Parking is available, but must be reserved well in advance. Location close to the city centre is excellent.

Stayed one night in economy room one of us ended up sleeping on the floor as upper bunk was very high up. Room itself resembled a cupboard. Staff upgraded me when room was available after I paid the difference no problem
Captains room a reasonable size but beds too narrow with small flat pillows. Shower room very small.
Plus points room at back quiet and good choice of english tv channels.

We were happy with the friendly staff.
We weren't happy with the car hire arrangements with Hertz via the hotel - and do not recommend!
The room was adequate just!
We enjoyed a good breakfast on the roof terrace arrived at via a fabulous staircase (or lift).
The hotel is in a perfect location right in the middle of the old city and not far from the magnificent cathedral.

Onenight for business trip, the room is small and the bathroom is very small. In any case, it is ok, just for sleep, clean. Nice people, very kind, ready to help for anything. I would stay there again.

Room Tip: don't take rooms to the waterside, very noisy!!!

Small rooms, narrow and uncomfortable beds, no way to adjust the heating and noise travels easily from room to room. Worst of all is the loud music and shouting from the bars along the outside river, which went on all night. At 4 am I managed to sleep about ½ hour - not because the music stopped, but because I was so tired ...

Room Tip: Certainly not facing the river

Rooms are extra small and gives a feeling of a small cabin of cruise ship. If a tall guy stands in the middle of room and spreads his hands he will touch the side walls. You can hear sounds of what people are doing or watching in adjacent rooms. The bed is a spring bed with very thin almost no mattress on top gives a very uncomfortable sleep during night. The toilet/shower room is not different as well, it continues to give the same cabin feeling. Breakfast is charged extra. Plus point is location of hotel and the price. Book only if you want nothing more than a shelter over night.

I stayed three nights here for work and I was looking forward to leaving. This is a hotel for sleeping in, not spending any more time there than you have to. The best thing is the location, right beside the cathedral in the cobbled main square of this lovely university town, with it's restored canal and huge choice of bars and restaurants. The strap line is "Sleep Cheap in Luxury". I wasn't paying, but I guess cheap is the one bit that's correct. Certainly not luxury! The corridors and rooms make you feel you are on board ship, like sleeping in a pod, with your en suite facility a 'pod within a pod'. The single beds are narrow. There is a desk and free wifi, everything works OK and the continental breakfast is acceptable. The cost is about £50 a night, breakfast £7. I'd say plenty of basic hotel chains provide a better experience for the money, but perhaps not in such prime locations.
