Nestled in the famous Tivoli gardens in Copenhagen, is the NIMB hotel. In order to see the beauty of this exquisitely ornate Moorish style boutique hotel it should be approached by the entrance at Vesterbrogade in the early evening when it is fully lit. The interior is designed in muted shades of grey with modern styled furniture, lovely floral arrangements and exudes elegance. For information, on all that is happening in Copenhagen do not hesitate to ask Kuno at the concierge desk.
The terrace outside overlooks the Tivoli gardens and is a great vantage point for a glimpse of the many afternoon programmes of music and ballet emanating from the Tivoli gardens.
I would highly recommend the terrace not only for the delectable appetizers: sardines served in the can with roasted lemon, or prosciutto on a bed of fresh cream with a sprinkle of cheese, but also for the choice of cocktails offered especially the old Cuban, a mojito laced with champagne and the wonderful service by our waiter Mads.
This hotel is a definite must when considering a trip to Copenhagen.

First and foremost has been one of the best place that I have traveled to. If in one shouldn't miss. , Hotel is an amazing place. There are cottages and rooms available in the hotel. The are slightly expensive, but its worth every penny you pay more. The cottages are spacious and can house four people in two rooms, though we were only two, we found them to be ideal. Food at Hotel is as good as home made. Their three course meals are authentic and a treat to have. Vegetarians will also like the food. Service levels are good and this hotel and the place has left an impression in my mind that I will never forget. Cheers to the owners, managers and the staff of Hotel,

My wife and I booked the Nimb hotel for our initial two days in Scandinavia after an overnight flight from Toronto. Even though we had traveled in business class with lay flat sleepers and managed to get 6 hours of sleep, we always like to book a nice hotel room for our arrival to help cope with the jet lag. The Nimb was rated highly on Tripadvisor, so it got the nod. The hotel is located adjacent to the Tivoli gardens with free admission to this Copenhagen attraction for it’s guests, a nice touch. The front desk staff was helpful enough at first encounter and the immediate impression of the hotel was favourable. The lobby and halls are beautifully adorned with dark wood floors, stone entrance matts and high-level furnishings. Our room (number 14) was extremely small but finished in the same high quality as the remainder of the hotel. Upon first entering the room, I noticed an intrusive level of street noise and proceeded back down to the reception desk to inquire about a change of rooms. The front desk attendant stated that she would “check with the manager” and get back to me. Meanwhile, my wife and I set out to explore the sites of Copenhagen. Upon returning to the hotel, we were informed by the front desk that, in fact, there were other rooms available and that we could move into one of them immediately but that there would be an additional charge of $600 per night (we were already paying $550 per night). I felt that paying more than twice as much for an acceptable room after a noise complaint was not reasonable and elected to remain in the initial room and hope that the noise would not adversely affect our sleep. In addition to the small size and ambient street noise, the room was also quite warm and when I inquired as to how to adjust the air conditioning to improve the comfort level for sleeping, I was told that the hotel had not yet turned on the system and to “open the windows”. Of course this only served to increase the road noise which was barely tolerable the first night (a Sunday) and oppressive the second night. As we had to leave early in the morning, I was unable to speak further with the management of the hotel to voice my displeasure but it should not have required any further action on my part aside from the initial complaint to ensure resolution of this matter. A properly trained manager, upon hearing of a guests noise concerns, should have moved the guest free of charge or upgraded them at a nominal fee. In all of my previous and extensive encounters with problems of this type, I have never had such unacceptable treatment by the management of a hotel. I can therefore not recommend this hotel and especially room 14. In my opinion, this room should not have been booked by the hotel, without a disclaimer that it is small and noisy and in the summer months, uncomfortably hot. It is a shame that the management of this hotel is so inept, as the physical environs are quite beautiful and picturesque.

Room Tip: Do not stay in room 14

Stayed here in Feb 2014 for wedding anniversary and was very impressed. Easy to get to and great location in Tivoli Gardens (even though they weren't open in the winter).

Lovely rooms, a great bar and very impressive Brasserie restaurant.
Delighted by the little touches - champagne for breakfast on our anniversary and a little cake on my wife's birthday.

A real boutique hotel, with staff who look after you.

This fantastic little hotel is located directly opposite the Copenhagen central station, and within the Tivoli Gardens. Our room was on the ground floor with a private balcony to open directly onto the gardens. It was a great spot to enjoy pre dinner drinks& enjoy the evening jazz concerts. The room was spacious & had a great bathroom. Breakfasts were very good with the option of ordering from the menu. The staff were most helpful, organising a private tour guide for us,which is highly recommended experience. A few free rides in the gardens' fun park was an unexpected bonus from the concierge. We would definitely go back.

Room Tip: Ask for a ground floor room if you want a private balcony

This hotel has a convenient, but we do not considered very good location. It is in the middle of Tivoli Park and you have easy and free access to it. However there are thousands of local people and tourists around you. During two nights we had shows up too late at night as well as fireworks. Noise and busy environment all day. You are also in front of the Central Station and easy access to metro and train to the airport.
The hotel has beautiful and modern ambient and rooms, but we did not find enough space for clothes, shoes and luggage.
The price is extremely high, the service is very good, the brasserie and wine bar also very good.

With the legendary Tivoli Gardens in its backyard, and the Central Station within walking distance the hotel is very well located. If you check into a suite be prepared for an Arabian Nights fantasy. A little over the top decor but you are transported into another world - of fairy tales and knights in armour. We dined at the Nimb Brasserie on sugar-salted salmon, lemon-drenched oysters and white chocolate parfait.Nice, luxurious way to see and stay in Copenhagen! There is even an old-fashioned ballroom with a crackling fire and comfortable seating. This is a completely non smoking hotel so for us it was pure bliss.

Room Tip: take one with a view of the gardens
