“If you only have a short time in Copenhagen then do this tour”
Reviewed 25 July 2014

We had just over a day in the city and were very glad to have spent 3 hrs with Mike on his tour. We are both cyclists and the idea of seeing a city by bike really appealed and Mike delivered. Copenhagen is very bike friendly and the route takes in alleyways and main paths taking you around the city. Mike's style is informal, informative and funny. I spent 3 hours smiling! His humour may not be everyone's cup of tea but read the other reviews ( even the bad ones) and work out if it is for you, it was for us and I thoroughly recommend it.

“Outstanding way to explore Copenhagen!”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

Copenhagen is such a bike-friendly city that there really is no better way to explore it than by bike. This was my first visit to Copenhagen, and the bike tour was a great way to get a broad overview of the highlights, to experience getting around the city the way many locals do, and to get a little exercise to boot! Mike is a very charming guide -- extremely passionate and knowledgeable about his city, and full of interesting stories. I was really surprised how many places one can actually ride a bike in Copenhagen -- including right up to the entrance of their parliament building. I highly recommend this tour as a way to get a good overview of the city.

“A must do for those with time ”
Reviewed 20 July 2014 via mobile

Mike's tour is fantastic. We took the afternoon 3hr Green cycle.

In summary, you need to be able to cycle and understand some of the København cycling rules and etiquette. This is because Mike takes you on a unique route that you might not attempt yourself. Also Mike is great fun, but this includes colourful language, so not for the easily offended.

Of all the tours we have done so far, this one has had the most cultural and social commentary, giving an insight into Danes that you don't find on a boat trip or hop on hop off. The reason I titled this as a must do if you have time, is that you won't tick off the usual landmarks. If you want to do this, then I would put this on your second or third day of your visit.

As an expat working here, Mike took me to places that were meters from my commute, that I didn't know existed and had real historical relevance. As some one who doesn't research history, or read much beyond the recommendations on restaurants, Mikes insight was fascinating and something I would never discover myself.

Highly recommended, including the swim at the end. Take a towel!

“Great way to see Copenhagen!”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

Mike's three-hour bike tour of Copenhagen was a wonderful start to our visit to this enchanting city. There were 7 of us in the group which made it very easy to hear Mike's explanations during our stops and also gave us plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Mike loves his city and has travelled extensively, so shared some of his insights into what make the Danes 'tick'. It was a great way to learn about Danish history and how this has shaped the nation they are today.
Apart from the major attractions, Mike took us through small alleys, into courtyards and behind walls that we would never have found on our own. It was a 5 star experience!

“Great Bike Ride, Very informative”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

Mike takes you into the heart of Copenhagen to explore the sites of the city. He explains the historical relevance of each area throwing in funny jokes and witty comments to make this one of the best bike tours around.Mike explains how Copenhagen and Denmark came to be. Mike is truly a great guy, and an excellent guide. Ask him to show you the picture of him and the Prime Minister!
