Brilliant Hotel not far from the cenre of Copenhagen. Great value for money and excellent if doin g Copenhagen on a budget as everything else is expensive (£6.50 for a pint of lager). Easy to find and great public transport access.

If your expectations are a basic...very basic, little, cabin-sized, room, little service and a clean, little out of the way stay, then this is a good hotel for you. The room was efficient for living out of a suitcase. It was very clean and crisp looking. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is just off the street that leads to the Tivoli area of Denmark. The price was okay, but I think that Copenhagen is very expensive and maybe this hotel is inexpensive in comparison. I did not do the breakfast and there is no where to eat, but the Convention Center around the corner.

This is a 2 star hotel, and I have to say that it deserves more. I have certainly stayed at 3 star establishments that were nowhere near this place in terms of cleanliness, quality and looks.
So, it looks really stylish, both the lobby, dining area and the rooms. Rooms are small, but if you're on your own or a couple without too much baggage, you'll be fine, nothing to complain about. Everything is new, the toilet is clean and neat, there's TV in the room, pretty much it has everything it should have for a short, weekend stay.
Staff are nice and helpful. There were some check-in machines as well, but they did not work. However, check in with the staff was fast and efficient, so no biggie.
Breakfast is great, really nice choice of everything, fruit, bread, hams, jams, cereal, milk, coffee etc. Standard, but fresh and plentiful.
The only downside is the location. Yes, it is close to railway station, but it is sort of all the way around the post office building complex, which is huge, so you have to walk all the way around the block, maybe 15 minutes once you have actually reached the station. This is quite a nuisance, as after walking around the city you make your way to the train station thinking how you'll be there in no time, and when you finally get there, you still have some 15 minutes of walking to cover, which is not so nice if you are carrying bags and if it's raining, which sort of almost always is in Copenhagen. It would have been great if there was access to the hotel through the post office complex parking lot, it would get you to your hotel in 5 minutes maximum.
All in all, this is a good place to stay, and I would stay there again if there's no other option within the same price range available someplace really closer to railway station, or Tivoli, or otherwise more conveniantly located.

We stayed here after a cruise that ended in Copenhagen. We stayed for three nights. Copenhagen, for us, was a very expensive city. This hotel was the most reasonable we could find and still be within reasonable sightseeing distance. It was perfect for us. We are 62 and 80 and though most of the guests were much younger, this was a good fit for us. The breakfast was extra so it was a choice. We ate breakfast there as there seemed no place nearby to eat. We thought it was fine. The breads were fantastic and all breakfast foods were plentiful. The atmosphere was lively with guests of all ages, families, young adults and older adults such as ourselves. The hotel room was very small but cleverly designed. It was not designed for lots of luggage! We had two suitcases and two carry-ons, but we managed. (We did not open all our suitcases.) The bed was against the wall, so one of us (me) had to crawl in - again the pros outweighed the cons. The bed was comfy. The WiFi was free (always a plus) and was great. The lobby was large and there were computers for guests. It was a bustling place. Fun to watch the comings and goings. The desk people and the breakfast manager were all helpful with directions and information. This hotel had another interesting option. One could pay ahead with no refund and reserve the room, or pay a slightly higher rate and receive a full refund up until 12noon of the check-in day. Rick Steves, a well-known travel reviewer, mentioned its location on a desolate street. I would like to mention that we were there in May 2012, and we were not out late in the evening. We found pedestrian traffic along the street and did not feel that there was any issue with it being a "lonely street."
We were within walking distance to the TIvoli amusement park and the Rail Station. We also enjoyed walking to other sightseeing spots, but then we took a taxi back. Many sightseeing buses began at the Tivoli as well.
If you are looking a hotel that is gives you an opportunity to enjoy a beautiful city at a good value with a clean room, styled with Danish design, located not far from the Rail station and good walk to sightseeing -- this is the place for you! I would recommend it and I would stay here again.

Room Tip: The price is based on how high a floor you choose in the hotel. The higher the floor -- the higher...

We stayed here from july 19th to 23rd, highly recommended. Good staff, easy check in and out. We were on the 8th floor. Very nice room, clean and stylish. Most importantly, good beds. Close to everything. All in all a great budget hotel that has all the service you need.
On the breakfast lounge, we had breakfast there once because we´re the brunch kinda people that prefer a nice café downtown but there was everything you need there for a quick, comfy breakfast. Good coffee, bread, jogurt and juice.

Room Tip: Spend just a little more for the upper floors, it´s worth it.

Ok location, 5 min walk from the railwaystation, 15 min walk
from Strøget. Economy rooms are small, but has a clever use of space. Interior is characterized by Danish minimalism - neat, stylish and functional. Love the shower :-) Breakfast is available for 60 DKK extra, drinks and snacks are sold in the lobby. There is a lounge with tv and computers with free internet access in the lobby. Wi-Fi internet and flat screen tv is also available in rooms.  Free street parking outside hotel plus hotel parking for a fee. Wakeup Copenhagen is clean, modern and definitely recommended.

A very little room but very clean, very well furnished and all in all nice.
Breakfast is not very plentiful, but this hotel is a 2 stars hotel and what it offers is more than enough.
Perfect for business travel.
