I have really enjoyed staying in this hotel. It is very close to the city center and I got a very good price. The rooms are very small, but it is amazing how they are well-organized! I slept very well!

Great position (very close to the central station and to the city centre)! Rooms are very clean and confortable, with private bathroom (not so common in Copenhagen!). The breakfast buffet is very high quality, but a higher variety of sweet plates would be appreciated.
Check in at 3 pm is quite unconfortable if you travel with a morning flight, anyway there is a luggage storage in the basement (charged 20 krones).

Overall, a good find – cheap and basic, but if you're just looking for a bed for the night it's excellent. Compact but not as cramped as I expected, and it was well-maintained and very clean. It's only 5 minutes walk from the train station, but be warned there aren't many restaurants around there... you're a good 15 minutes walk to go out for dinner in the evening.

My only two gripes were that there are no safes in the room – if you want to lock valuables away, you have to put them in the unattended luggage room in the basic and pay 20 DKK every time you open your locker – and, on a more minor note, that by default you get one shampoo sachet which is barely enough to wash half your head.

Very simple room, quite small but has comfortable beds. If you're only looking for a clean and fresh hotel, book this one. Friendly staff, central location as well. The breakfast was not too advanced but decent.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for three nights; a long weekend city break in October 2013. We had researched various options in Copenhagen and read numerous Tripadvisor reviews before we selected the Wakeup hotel.

The other reviews on here, both positive and negative, are all fairly accurate; whether or not the Wakeup hotel caters for your needs depends very much on your requirements. If you want luxury, it is not luxurious. We knew that Copenhagen was going to be a very expensive city to visit (dining, public transport, tourist attractions etc) and so we selected an inexpensive hotel to compensate for that.

Our welcome was very good; the reception staff spoke perfect English and we checked in with no fuss. Our room was immaculately clean; this is the most important thing for us. Our room was small, but had been designed functionally (you can store luggage at the end of or underneath the bed, for example). The lack of space might have become tiresome had we been staying for ten nights, but for three nights it didn't cause a problem. The bathroom was small but, again, it was clean and the shower was powerful and warm every time it was used.

The hotel is ever so slightly isolated. It is only a ten minute walk to the very centre of town, but it is more than a five minute walk to get anywhere. We were fortunate to have good weather for all but one half of one day, and we were happy to walk. But finding somewhere to eat when we arrived at 19:00 on Friday was more troublesome. We ended up paying for breakfast every morning; it was consistent with Copenhagen prices, but was very satisfying.

We would definitely stay at the Wakeup hotel again, but would do so with realistic expectations.

location Is 20min walk from the MAIN railway station. So if its your first time and your carrying Pieces of luggage with you, its gonna be quite a Walk. Building seemed to be very NEW and well painted. Its actually has Modern interior. our Room was Small but Considering The higher prices of other Hotels in copenhagen, I can say Its A Good Deal. Though Matchbox-like-room, interior was bright and Ours has Big Window with a Fabulous View especially at Night Time so you wont feel Cramped inside. BREAkfast Buffet Was also very Good- typical European Breakfast with cold cuts and the Bfast hall Is quite Big and well Decorated Consistent with the Hotel's interior Theme. They Have mini Bar/store beside the Reception where you could purchase some drink or Ask for Hot Water since the rooms doesnt have Coffee makers. They Do not Have Business Center and Printing Charge is quite Expensive. I hope they will Provide soon coz its a big Help for Travellers. However, wifi connection is Very good wherever you are inside the building. if you Are arriving via Train from Sweden or anywhere, you MIGHT consider this Hotel. But if youre arriving by plane to Copenhagen, its gonna be a different Story. Howver, there is this Bus that Goes to Tivoli hotel and Passes by Wake Up copenhagen but will take you Around 20mins of waiting and another 20mins bus ride depending in your origin.

I love the concept and the location. Staying there alone is ok, I guess sleeping there as a couple the room might be too small... I mean where do you put your bags etc....
The bathroom/WC is really just behind a glass wall, which doesn't matter if you sleep there alone.

Room Tip: Hmmm pay for a big room if you stay there with another person...
