We came to Copenhagen for a long weekend on a whim and had gotten a pretty good deal at WakeUp. Our first positive impression was the proximity to the train station, which made getting there via public transport from the airport easy as pie. Additionally, WakeUp is well located for seeing the city. While not in the middle of old town you are at an easy walk to the center of town and to other neighborhoods, as well.
We had a room with a double bed. The room itself was pretty tiny but well thought out with everthying you need for a couple days. The room was clean and well looked after with the furniture in good condition. The bathroom was tidy and small with a shower that had great water pressure. Check-in was speedy with very friendly concierge/receptionists. Wifi and TV worked well, too.
Overall, it was exactly what we needed for a weekend (we spent the bulk of our time exploring the ciry). On our last morning we took advantage of the breakfast buffet. It was fine, but that is about it. Even though it isn't pricy, I'd recommend heading to one of Copenhagen's many restaurants/cafes for breakfast, instead. Better coffee and more options.
