Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers

Decided to share my experience with the hotels of the IHG chain across Europe (since I went on business trips about 20 times in the Autumn-Winter of 2010) and for some reason this hotel is the first one that comes to mind out of all of the ones used in those trips!

The location is not central but none the less convenient since the train station is within 5 minutes walking distance and it takes you straight to the center in about 15 minutes. Also there is a free shuttle service from the airport and back which is very convenient.

The pricing is.. well its Copenhagen. Everything is expensive in Copenhagen and I was saved only by the employee rates.

Still I am sure that the value is worth it. It is a very modern hotel with very spacious and cosy rooms. Panoramic windows although without a view gave some extra space to the room so it was definitely comfortable. The bed was just fantastic!

Staff was very helpful and not only with me but other guests as well. I worked Front Office jobs myself so I can be a bit picky at times. Still here no problems.

Business center is nice and quiet although the number of computers is very limited. And I must say that I do not understand to this day why they have decided to set up iMacs everywhere that ran on Windows! Still it did look stylish!

Did not have time to try the food or even the complimentary drink at the bar so cannot advise anything..

All in all fantastic hotel that definitely left some good memories. Highly recommend this place for a business trip or a solo visit! You are sure to get some good sleep and enjoy your time here.

While this hotel is located near the airport in Copenhagen and seems far removed from the city center, it is actually very convenient due to the location of a Metro Station just one block from the hotel. It is very modern, high-rise, and not as expensive as some more centrally located hotels. We stayed 3 nights prior to a cruise and 1 night after the cruise.

I was hesitated to book Marriott or Crown Plaza as this is my first time with this chain, anyway I have chosen a right choice as I have read through many reviews on Trip Advisor. The hotel is quite new with good service from hotel staff.

Transportations:
Very convenient with the free shuttle service that you have to contact the "Sixt" counter to make a call to the hotel and a few minutes later the van will come to pick you at the shuttle zone. In five minutes you will arrive the hotel. You can come in town by Metro station nearby the hotel across the Field shopping mall. It takes not morethan 15 minutes to Kongens Nytorv (King's New Square) station that you can enjoy the town after that.

Room:
I book the suite that we can stay together just for one night(3 persons) on the top floor. There are three partitions in room; bed room with spacious bathroom (Jacuzzi) with a lot of good amenities, Living room with great view and flat screen tv and dining room with Nespresso machine, they give you variety of coffee machine. You can enjoy the club lounge on the second floor until 10pm.

Breakfast:
Very good quality of food, I like the Omelet and Danish bread.

Service;
Very attentive staffs

Airport shuttle service;
You should book the shuttle in advance by mail and the night before you check out to make sure you can have the right time to arrive and depart.

Room Tip: You can buy the Metro ticket cheaper from the concierge

Our experience from the outset was great as within 10 minutes of clearing customs we were on the free shuttle to the hotel. This quick and efficient service makes the short journey to the hotel a breeze and the drivers we had both ways wre very friendly and informative.
Our room was spotlessly clean with great views over to the centre of copenhagen and all of our requests for extra tean and milk were dealt with quickly.
The hotel itself is outside the city centre by a few miles and is not in the most asthetically pleasing location. But, if you are just using it as a base to explore Copenhagen it is perfect. The metro and main train line are only a two minute walk away making direct trips into Copenhagen and further afield to Malmo in Sweden for example so simple. There is also a large shopping centere next to the stations if you want to do some shopping or grab breakfast if you do not have it included in your room rate. The shops open at 10 and the food areas at 9.30.
The staff are on hand to give tips on travelling around and can provide maps and travel tickets which make life even easier.
My wife and I were so glad we stayed here as it made our trip very simple and comfortable.

I stayed here as part of a business trip which I extended to enjoy the weekend in Copenhagen.
At first I was rather apprehensive about the location, but don't let this fool you. It is conveniently located between the airport and the city centre. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle bus between Kastrup (airport) and the hotel and it is very convenient. Besides the shuttle bus there is also a train station next to the hotel which has trains going to the airport, Malmö (Sweden) and central Copenhagen every 15-20 minutes.
The hotel itself is beautiful. Very Danish in design; clean, stylish and not overly pompous. It is also spotless and comfortable. Upon arrival I was given an upgrade to a club / executive room and had access to their club lounge for my daily breakfast, drinks and business services. WiFi was available for a fee, but there were iMacs in the lounge with complimentary internet access.
My room was in one of the highest floors with a partial view of central Copenhagen in the distance. The room was very nice; modern with earthy colours and a very comfortable bed. There is a nice sitting area with a lounge chair near the window where you could look out over the city as you relaxed.
I was also welcomed to Copenhagen by the hotel manager, who had fresh fruit and a bottle of wine sent to my room. Very nice touch!
Shower & toilet area was nice and big; also very modern. Towels are comfortable and big, which is something you don't always find at European hotels.
Interesting touch in the hotel is how the hotel will give you credit towards your hotel bill if you will bike for 20-25 minutes each day on one of their stationary bikes in the lobby. These bikes are used for generating electricity and therefore a very unique touch! Needless to say this was a popular activity and I saw people riding these bikes at all hours of the day!
Catering was very good (as it is in general in Denmark). Breakfast served in the club lounge was wonderful with a large selection of cold cuts and warm dishes. In the evening there were drinks in the lounge (and with the price of alcohol in Denmark, this was very much appreciated!).
The general vicinity is still rather new and in construction. It is more businesses and there is a big shopping centre across the road & train tracks that was quite popular (didn't get to visit it this time around).
So if you are in need of a good, comfortable hotel, do consider this fantastic hotel!

Loved the hotel and the facilities. Being a priority member gives access to club lounge facilities which is really great. Its next door to the metro station. They have a free shuttle cab facility to and from airport. These shuttles are infront of Terminal 2 or one can contact Sixit to call the hotel. Overall a very pleasant experience. We had to travel quite a many times from the airport and hence this was the best choice

We about fainted and there was nothing else to get or eat. If you are going to a conference and get the office to pay....guess you won't care. Room was very nice. Front desk clerk at midnight was a stuck up snob. Did not offer us Internet or breakfast. Just glad it was only one night.
