If you are looking for a cookie-cutter hotel, please do not stay here. If you are for a unique experience with a bit of an adventure, then the CPH living is an excellent choice. It is a houseboat with two floors of hotel rooms. The rooms are what you would expect at a good hotel: OK size (for Copenhagen...), bathroom etc.. Clean and with hard wood floors. It's the houseboat location that makes this so unforgettable. With a bit of a wind, you will feel your room slightly move along. And you will enjoy a beautiful view of Copenhagen: seeing the old town with the tower of city hall.

Breakfast is simple but you can enjoy it on the sun deck or the little vestibule next to it (if it is too cold to eat outside) with an even more amazing view.

Staff is very laid-back and incredibly friendly.

The only thing I could criticize is the shower: It is a miracle in a way that it turns the whole bathroom into mess although there is hardly any water coming out. Anyway...

The location of the CPH living is good: a ten-minute walk across the bridge into the city, five minutes or so to the Christianshavn metro station.

A true treat for a wonderful stay in Copenhagen!

Room Tip: Pick a room on the lower level if you are afraid of becoming seasick due to the boat rocking slightly when it is windy.

Cool boathotel with excellent view. Short walk from Christianshavn metro and the city centre. The staff was very friendly. A few details pulled the score down from top; tv was useless because of technical noise and the bed was too hard. The value is probably much better in the summertime because there is a nice rooftop terrace.

This hotel (boat) was an excellent choice for something a little different for your stay in Copenhagen. The boat is easy to find, and not too far from the major tourist areas.

The room was a good size with everything you need - it is a little like sleeping in an "Ikea Shoowroom". Shower was excellent, hot water and a good size.

Breakfast was basic and is nice for the view down the river, but i would suggest saving your apertite and visiting a local cafe for the "Brunch".

Staff were helpful; booking our cab and holding our luggage etc.

A good alternative to a normal box hotel.

A very unique and special experience for sure! The boat is tiny so keep that in mind but that being said...The room itself was bigger then I expected. By no means large but room for 2 people and your bags. The shower was actually one of the bigger I have seen in Europe with excellent water pressure. Not a ton of privacy though so I probably won't recommend it to people not super comfortable around each other! Small but filling breakfast buffet, mainly breads and yummy danish! Breakfast can be eaten upstairs on the deck (up a spiral staircase). It was too cold to spend a ton of time on the deck but I imagine its lovely in the summer time.
Our luggage was lost and the hotel staff was very helpful in letting us use their phone and helping translate.
The only downside is the location. During the summer it wouldn't have been an issue but in the colder months the 20-30 min walk to downtown seemed a bit long. It's maybe 10 min to Christiania. But the overall experience made up for the location!
*I was 7 months pregnant during our visit and had been concerned about possible rocking of the boat but it was totally a non-issue.

Room Tip: All rooms face the water

If you are looking for a different experience other than a regular hotel this may be for you! Centrally located. Small with 12 cosy rooms which are clean, warm and secure. Bathroom facilities may not suit everyone as only glass door/partition separates from sleeping area. Continental Breakfast is adequate. Quiet and intimate setting with nice views up and down the river. In our opinion would not suit families with small children. Staff friendly and helpful. We found Copenhagen an expensive city for food and drink. An enjoyable few days.
