It really is a hotel for a quick stop. There are not many facilities available. Right next to a motorway, although location was nice. Couldn't believe they were charging £10 + per night for use of their car park.. This should really be free for paying customers. The rooms are tiny and really would struggle to swing a cat in the bathroom. Then again bank is near, metro stop 5 min walking distance , large shopping centre right there and room prices reasonable . I had a great nigh sleep tho and that in a single bunk-bed!

Room Tip: I think these are all standard " boat cabin" style rooms

Every negative comment expressed about this hotel is accurate. I had hoped that certain issues about service etc would be addressed but it obviously hasn't. We arrived to a long queue to check in and were given our key cards. The room (standard family) was small but decent sized for the 4 of us. However, there was someone's old chewing gum on the bed, clearly not sorted by the cleaning staff and one of the light switches was literally hanging off the wall. For the first 2 nights of our 3 night stay, we could only open the window a tiny way inwards, hinged at the bottom which let next to no air through it, meaning we had to endure beyond uncomfortable heat. However, upon seeing others opening further on a vertical hinge, we asked how to do this and managed - could do with having instructions in the room as it's not obvious at all. The bathroom, far too small, shower leaks onto the carpet outside the door as there's a gap and as the tap and shower both use the same knob when turning on the tap sometimes you get soaked by the shower too. One night, the vending machine kept returning my money when I needed a drink, after trying 3 different combinations of coins I gave up and then had to sit and wait in the line, so long a ticketing system was being used. Bit of a faff. Breakfast was poor, limited choice - and no Danish pastries?! Ironic when most hotels outside of Denmark do... Only positive thing was the fact it was fairly near the metro and the supermarket in Fields shopping centre was handy.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a low floor to avoid elevator delays

Hotel is very modern and rooms are small but functional. Excellent location for airport and metro ride into Copenhagen. Metro station 2 minute walk through shopping centre and 5 stations away from Copenhagen city centre. Check in was fine and buffet breakfast ok (although no-one checked if we had paid for it!).

Cabinn metro room for one person are really a cabin and the bed is a bunk . I paid 66 euros for a night is Copenhagen which is good rate but fro two people or more I am not sure it is worth it.
You arrive there is a long queue at reception and you will quickly really it never stops as the reception also do bar drinks and food. Basically you want to check in and you have a customer in front of you hat comes to get a beer . For check out it is the same another long wait . You want a drink ? Then you will need to queue once more . This is unbearable !!! You would except a basic service in this kind of hotels but at least give your customers the facility to check in on line or on self service kiosks and then you will experience the hotel for what it is without inconvenience .
It is unfortunate as the staff is friendly at reception but the non stop wait and queues gets on your nerves . I woke up early to make sure I would have time to queue and check out without being late for my job .
On the good note ether is the a large shopping 4 mns walks from the hotel called "Field's" and I would recommend that you buy your drinks and/or food there before going to the hotel to avoid the going through reception .

When you cross the shopping centre you will find the railway station that is a stop for Metro and train . The train gies to the airport very 15minutes and also to Copenhagen Central and it takes around 10 mns . You can also take the metro for the city .

The hotel has an excellent location - Next to Fields shopping center, and when you cross the shopping center you get to the train and metro station.
Very efficient and polite service at the reception, excellent breakfast, good free wifi.
BUT... although the room was sparkling clean, it was definitely fit for a child, not an adult. In trying to save space - this reached ridiculous proportions - the toilet/shower was so crammed that it was impossible to sit well on the toilet because the sink took a great chunk of the space. The shower itself was smack on top of everything. Very unpleasant.
As for the bed - My room had two bunk beds (although I asked for a single room), both so narrow that I had a problem turning around at night. The reception clerk told me that is was in the spirit of the main concept of the hotel - simulating cabins on a ship... Not good enough!
Room was clean but no air conditioner. One hot night I nearly suffocated. I had to climb the desk in order to reach the window and open it completely. As my room was on a higher floor, I did not have road noice, but the heat from the glass panes of the wall at a right angle to my window did not allow any fresh air into the room.

Room Tip: If it is hot outside, ask for a room far away from the adjacent building. That building is covered w...

Cabinn Metro – all you need NOT to sleep!

Such a nice slogan “All you need to sleep”. This is proven to be fully misleading due to the following reasons:

1. Room temperature. Arriving to the room, the immense heat was felt immediately the door was opened. It was HOT, I checked the temperature (by some fancy gadget, which I actually know is accurate) to be 28-29 degrees Celsius. The so-called ventilation was breathing less air than a dead rat! OK – you can open the window, but this neither was a good idea as shall be proven in point 2.
2. Level of noise is incredible. Around our room there was a party in approximately 4-5 other rooms, which was easily heard, smelled and seen from outside. People sitting in the open windows, smoking, shouting and playing loud music made it impossible to open the windows, because of the noise level, it was close to the noise of a football match. No personnel from hotel attended or tried to make people behave even though they were asked to. This continued to 04:00 am

3. The hotel is said to be non-smoking, OK I am no fanatic and smoke a little from time to time myself, but the hallway and the room was reeking from tobacco. This also came from the other guests smoking, sitting in the windows around our room.

4. The interior section separation between rooms is made from something comparable to cardboard, at least with respect to sound absorption. This means that you (besides the loud parties in most of the rooms) can hear people around you snoring, farting, getting text messages, etc., every single sound is transmitted to your room. The hotel stores incredibly many people in small space, compared to a normal hotel so the noise level is very high.

5. The bed and bed clothing’s are foul. Mattress thin and with springs easily felt through the thin cover mattress (I have normal build and weigh 90 kg) and the duvet and pillow is made from some awful synthetic material making you sweat even more in the tropic room.
So to conclude, “All you need to sleep”, is not at all fulfilled. I would actually have preferred a common dormitory to this. You can argue the price is low, but compared with what you get from a normal hotel; the price is actually much too high, seen from a relative point of view. You actually pay DKK 905, - for this (675+100 parking + 2*70 breakfast) so this is not cheap at all, when comparing to other “normal” hotels in Copenhagen (they often include both free parking and free breakfast).

I believe they should re-formulate their slogan to “All you definitely need NOT to sleep AT ALL”. Both I and my daughter did not sleep at all that night, so the hotel is useless seen from the perspective of its main purpose.

Never again!

Room Tip: Free wifi not working at all.
