Stayed here for 2 nights prior to taking a cruise. The location is great, 2 blocks away from the train station (15 minutes train ride from the airport). Right by the water, and walking distance to all the attractions and downtown core, yet at the outskirts of the tourist areas and very quiet.
Rooms are small, but this is expected of Europe and downtown any major city. Room amenities are great.
We had a room with a balcony, and the balcony was spacious. Great place for the morning coffee or to relax before or after a day of visiting the city.
Hotel comes with a restaurants, though their breakfasts are highly overpriced.
Great customer service! Would very much recommend this hotel to anyone

Great family hotel near Copenhagen City with several activities for children. Tivoli concept in design. Indoor pool and gym. Nice skybar and garden with outdoor terrace. 15 min walk to central station and Tivoli.

Room Tip: Ensure you get one of the larger double rooms if you are three persons. Due to the hotel design some...

We stayed at the Tivoli Hotel three nights prior to a Scandinavian Cruise. The hotel is new and management is running the business as a service oriented venture. Great customer service!
The room was new and comfortable but smaller (European standard). The housekeeping was quite good and the location was quiet. Linen and bedding were new. We were on one of the upper floors but not the executive floors and our breakfast was included in the offer.

The location is a 10/15 minute safe walk from Tivoli Garden and the main railway station. A Hop On/Hop Off bus stops at the front door and taxi's are readily available. Hotel is in an business office environment with newer construction behind the building. Not much of a view other that of the rail yard to the north. It however was quiet.

The breakfast buffet was outstanding with a wide range of hot and cold entrees. It was served in a large ballroom during our stay. The executive floors have a private breakfast area on the second floor.

The hotel does have smoke detectors and a fire suppression system.

Copenhagen is generally pretty expensive compared to the US. This is an affordable location to explorer Copenhagen. Superior Double Room and breakfast, at a special offer, about $258 a night.

Room Tip: Ask for a top floor on the north side of the building.

Our triple room is small. When the sofa bed is open, it is difficult to move around. It is modern and looks new. The beds and sofabed is comfortable. If you book via booking.com, make sure you choose the room with breakfast. It is good offer, cause breakfast alone cost dkk 175.

( book through booking.com website, not your login page. My experience with my login page the price offered is room only. But in its website , the offer incl. breakfast. So better double check.)

Hotel far from train station. Need to take bus A11 that stops in front of hotel. Starts from 07 am morning. If you need to go to airport early morning, need taxi.

Room Tip: Ask for view canals and higher floor, so the view is not blocked by other buildings.

The Tivoli Hotel was recommended by our travel agent and it looked beautiful online. We booked a room at more than $400/night. I am bewildered by the reviewers who said that this hotel is in a good location. The location is terrible. It is surrounded by rail yards on one side and is in the center of a construction site. There are NO cafes, restaurants, or stores near the hotel. It is a 15 minute walk in a deserted area to get to anything. There is a bus nearby to take you to the center of town but it doesn't run that frequently. It would be uncomfortable to walk back to the hotel at night because of it's remote location. The lobby looks like a convention center, which it is. I cannot recommend this hotel nor can I tell you anything about the rooms or amenities. We did not check in or go up to the room. BEWARE!!!

We stayed here for four days in July 2014, 2 adults, 2 children 5 & 3 in a standard family room. the room was compact but fine from a space perspective. It was clean, modern and comfortable, and good value.

This hotel has 2 key selling points. One is the location, its a 10 minute walk to Tivoli and the start of the main Copenhagen tourist areas which really isn't far, Also you can get a bus from right outside the hotel all the way around the main sites, its the number 11 bus ans is included in the public transport passes and Copenhagen card (which you should get). Bus runs every 7 mins so getting to and from the hotel is easy.

Secondly the facilities - there is a restaurant, a bar, a great breakfast hall, an outdoor playground for the children that joins on to the bar/restaurant so they can play whilst you relax. There is a kids play room with lego, pens, paper, a TV etc and much more.

For us this was a great hotel and we don't usually use hotels, preferring apartments for flexibility. We couldn't find an apartment in Copenhagen we liked and because of the well priced family room we gave this a try. We weren't disappointed.

Wonderful service, very nice restaurant, Sky Bar is good, but very crowded. Room was very nice with a nice view from the 11th floor. Good location: easy walk to the train station, about a 15-20 minute walk to the old town. I would recommend this hotel.
