We stayed at stay apartment for the second time. First time was great and this time it was also very nice. The apartments are great, very nordic minimalistic style. The surroundings are absolutely lovely. The gym is good and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Everything was organic and very fresh and tasty. It is one of the more expensive places to stay in Copenhagen but even though we would definately consider returning next time we are going to Copenhagen.

At first we were a little concerned that this hotel was not in the central part of the City, but it turned out to be perfect for us. It was a beautiful room, apartment-sized and equipped with every amenity you could want. It had a washer-dryer, large refrigerator, stove top, nice shower, large TV, and a balcony with a view of the water. The hotel has a nice rooftop patio where you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer. Next door, there is a full service grocery store where we bought food so we wouldn't have to eat out every night. It's about a quarter mile walk to pick up the ferry that takes you to central Copenhagen, and the ferry runs every half hour until 8:30 pm, so it's easy to get to the tourist spots. The staff was very nice. I would have given it a higher rating, but I had to deduct for a strong unpleasant odor in the bathroom that, I think, was coming from the drain. We mentioned it to the front desk, but no one ever checked on it. Nevertheless, I'm sure it was an aberration, and I would not hesitate to book there again.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the water

We stayed here for one night. Really good. The apartment was big with three bedrooms, a large living/dining area with open plan kitchen and one bathroom. Well furnished and very clean. It's location is a little bit out of the city centre which is across the river. A taxi from the Tivoli Gardens was €10. The apartment building is one of many in the area. It is close to but not on the river side. A 5 minute walk takes you to a lively local bakery and some river side restaurants. Prices here are good, much cheaper than in the city centre. For example a 0.5L beer here is €4.5 but the same beer at Nyhavn is €7. Meals are similarly cheaper. There is a waterbus stop 5 minutes from the STAY building.
Breakfast is available and there is a bar in the building. Just outside there is a supermarket. I would recommend here

We stayed for a week and loved the clean minimalist decor, comfortable firm bed, small balcony looking over the water, full kitchen, and washing machine/dryer. The studio apartment was huge and light. Has a large modern bathroom and open full kitchen. A five minute walk to a bus stop and then a 10-15 minute bus ride to the center of town. Also can transfer to the metro, or other buses. Also close to a couple of the bridges to walk across. Beautiful walking promenade next to the water. In a quiet residential area; there is a lot of new construction going up, but it did not disturb our visit. Staff were helpful. There is grocery store in the building, and a larger one a few blocks away. We would stay again, and recommend to our friends. Request a room facing the water, and in the same wing as reception.

Read the very first bad review of this place and note the date the review was posted. Fast forward it to 2018 and apparently lttle has changed.

I stayed here for a week with my family in late may and was extremely disappointed.

They do not have any phone with which to dial reception from. This is really ridiculous and if you happen to have a real emergency and are far from the reception or need help after hours, good luck to you.

The 2 BR apartment we stayed in was filthy. The sheets were not even changed when we checked in, there were several hairs on the sheets and you could smell whomevers body odor in the entire room. Disgusting. The wooden floors were so grimy that it was impossible to walk around with shoes off at any time. Even after a shower if you happened to forget and walk the shortest of short distance to your bedroom, the soles of your feet would be black! The towels were all threadbare and couch and rug all dirty. The design of the shower is really bad too, we had to use a squeegee to clean the water off of the floor after every shower , fancy doing that in your so called hotel?

There is absolutely no air conditioning or fan so if you stay there in summer you will suffer, trust me when I say it is like a sauna. Also if you are a light sleeper note that the so called blackout curtains are more light blocking than blackout. If you are there in summer you will absolutely need to open your windows and the amount of dust coming in from the huge construction site and noise from the streets is simply unbearable.

The location is fine, you can walk 15/20 minutes and access cafes, bakeries and the metro, but with the heat we chose to take a taxi most of the time. It is a bit out of the wa but I enjoyed the fact that it was more residential than touristic.

The only good thing was the Irma located nearby with great staff. I enjoyed interacting with them more than the cold and useless reception and breakfast staff.

I booked this as the space looked modern and great for my kids but it was so dirty that at the end of each day we didn’t enjoy going back at all.
