“Yum!”
Reviewed 5 August 2014 via mobile

Such a great place! Always packed, so good luck finding a seat. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I haven't had the coffee, but the tuna mousse sandwich is the best I've had anywhere!

“Books and Brunch”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

A friend of mine who currently lives in the city took me here for brunch and boy, what a brunch. The amount of food on the plate seems to be value for money and the quality solidified my opinion. I had the non-vegetarian one and everything was just delicious. Special mention has to go to the scrambled eggs (which are really tricky to get right I find in restaurants) and the pancake which was easily one of the best pancakes I've had. The atmosphere is also really nice. As a person who loves reading and food, it was a fantastic style of cafe and really enjoyable. Given the Danes even have a word for it, it was a very 'hyggelig' place to go.

“Great find”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

One of the women who worked at our hostel suggested this place to us - great recommendation. It was right near the University in a quieter part of town. The Book Café serves as a coffee shop during the day but serves lunch and dinner at mealtime. We went for dinner, and the prices were great and portion sizes large. And the food was delicious. There are no servers (you order at the counter), but that didn't matter to us. The Café is covered with wall-to-wall books (old, rare, and recent) and serves as a book shop as well, so a very cool environment. Free wifi too.

“Paludan hamburger”
Reviewed 26 July 2014

On holidays in copenhaguen.
Delicious, absolutely delicious burgers and nachos.
We really like the feel of the place. Books everywhere, nice menu, spaciuous and outdoor seats.
We went back for the burgers!

“Lovely atmosphere!”
Reviewed 10 July 2014

What a gorgeous cafe! With bookshelves lining the walls, partitioning the cafe into different sections, Paludan's was a nice place to chill out and have a nice cup of coffee (although they also serve a mean cup of Chai latte!). The food was fresh and delish!
