“This is a beautiful sight”
Reviewed 29 March 2014

My wife & I throughly enjoyed this church from not only the outside but what a wonderful surprise we were in for when we walked through the front doors. It was spectacular to say the least. It had such a meditative spirit to it. We just sat on the back benches and just relaxed and felt such a calmness and tranquility surround us. This is a beautiful church and what a wonderful sight from the outside when you first come upon it on the street.

“lovely church”
Reviewed 28 March 2014

Largest dome in Northern Europe. You can climb up to the dome on certain days. The church itself is unassuming and small, but the interior of the dome is beautiful! Free, and well worth a visit if you are nearby.

“A very impressive building, worth a visit.”
Reviewed 26 March 2014

A really impressive round structure. As you walk inside the eye is drawn upwards. It really is a vast church.
On our visit we didn't climb the tower as we had been up the 'Round Tower'.
I am not religious but would recommend a visit to admire the architecture.

“Very beautiful indeed”
Reviewed 15 March 2014

Unlike most other churches in Copenhagen, this is a completely round church.
From the outside it is very beautiful, on the inside it is sober, but still beautiful.
Make sure to be there at 13.00 or 15.00 so you can climb to the roof and have a spectacular view over the city.

“Be Sure to Climb the Dome”
Reviewed 8 February 2014

Make sure you visit at 1 or 3 on Saturday or Sunday, climbing to the top is an experience and gives the most spectacular views of the city - costs $5 or so, but the highlight of the day. The church itself is gorgeous, small (by European church standards), but very beautiful. Right next to Amalienborg, so easy to hit in the same afternoon.
