“Comfy but rather bland”

Overall a reasonably good hotel. Not very characterful. Clean. For an expensive hotel the TV and remote were a joke, very old television, very poor picture quality, and an ancient barely working remote. Breakfast was superb though.

The hotel is near to the city center. There are great restaurants located at the ground floor. We had a dinner at the thai restaurant blue elephant, food was great.
It took ~15 minutes taxi ride from the airport. Check-in was smooth, the room is reasonable size, unfortunately the room smell bad and run down. Hope they can do something about to improve the room condition. Other then that, it is OK hotel.

Overall, this is a hotel where pricing was one-half to two-thirds pricing for hotels I would have prefered to stay at. The one major disappointment is that this 25-story hotel does not have air conditioning in the rooms. I never thought to check prior to reservations, but air conditioning is rare in Copenhagen. The room was comfortable and a decent size with a great view, and windows were operable, but even at the 18th floor it was noisy. These concerns are irrelevant if you are not going in summer. Still, the overall hotel is a bit dated and needs renovation -- probably another good reason for the good rate of $225 per night. The location is out of the center, but is an easy walk to a metro station, across the street from a bus that quickly takes you to Tivoli, and not a bad 10 - 15 minute walk to the center.

this is a busy busy hotel, we booked 2 rooms for 2 nights on route to joining a cruise, the check in took over 30 minutes, 1 roomwas ready 1 wasnt when we got to the ready room it wasnt it hadnt been cleaned or made up, the second room was eventualy ready 2 hours later but after a lot of complaining. the rooms are basic and tired the buffet breakfast was ok but again very chaotic. unfortunately the check out was as painful as the cjheck in. there must be better options in town.

Room Tip: stay elsewhere

Much better than the reviews would suggest. The location was fine just across the bridge from the city proper and Tivoli gardens. Most places were very walkable or just a short ride on either the bus or the metro. The bus to and from the airport stopped just across the road from the hotel. The metro is just a couple of blocks away.
Our room had a great view looking out over the city and Christianhavn complete with the twisted golden church spire which glowed in the morning sun. The staff were obliging and even offerred us a better room than our original as we were staying a week. the second room had been remodelled. The room was always clean and was reasonably spacious. While the food here was rather expensive there are plenty of other options nearby. Don't let the bad reviews put you off there aren't too many hotels that have such amazing views.

Room Tip: Standard rooms on level 18 had been refurbished. from the street view it looked like levels16-20 had...

Did stay 1 nigth with friends. Hotel is very central for Copenhagen not fare from Tivoli. Staff were very good, helpfull and friendly. Rooms were clean and have the facilities you need but very small and do get a bit old !! Breakfirst in a large restaurant was very good and there was everything we could think about and well cooked.

Stayed here to run in the Copenhagen Marathon and picked this hotel literally because it was the closest hotel to the start/finish line. I booked a business class room because I read that the standard rooms were decorated in Asian theme and I don't care for that. Decent rooms, good size, very good view. Bathroom was ok, the bathtub was imitation marble but whatever.

Cons: at 11:15 pm, just as I was falling asleep in anticipation of running the next morning (I really needed a good nite sleep so badly!) a VERY loud fireworks display went off right outside my window that was coming from the park across the street. Lasted about 15 minutes I couldn't believe it--I woke up and couldn't fall back asleep for another hour. I am sure any family with children in the room must have been awaken!

Pros: I left a shirt on the bed when I checked out and called the hotel on my way home. They located the shirt and mailed it my house within 3 days! That's good customer service! Also, great breakfast!
