Owner description: Copenhagen's Nyhaven, or "New Harbor," is actually steeped in a long heritage. Colorful buildings line the canal and hint at a history of small-vessel traffic. Like many ports, this strip has a salty history, rich with sailors, drinking and literary exploits. Danish author Hans Christian Andersen made his home in Nyhavn as well. It's cleaned up now and is a lovely place for a stroll.

What a lovely place to stroll through. Very picturesque and quaint in the midst of a bustling city. Great stop.

We went on a weekend - it was packed and there were signs warning visitors about pickpockets so we took a few photos and left. The buildings are as pretty as shown in the pictures. We into I the peaceful courtyard of a museum just next to Nyhavn

Lovely place to stroll along the pretty buildings. Alot of restaurants and dessert shops. A must-visit when one is visiting Copenhagen.

Nyhavn is a scenic area, a small harbor with colorful buildings, but other than than a short walk around or starting a boat tour, it isn't much more than a beautiful restaurant area.
