We stayed at Ibsens for 6 nights in the Large room.
Pros - great location, quiet street, small but quality breakfast, friendly staff, very well appointed space.
Cons - space is too tight, with a third bed in the so called large room there was no space to open our bags, there’s no wardrobe and just a couple of small open shelves on the walls. The rooms aren’t equipped for summer and the tiny table fan doesn’t help. If you open the windows for breeze, the light (as days are long) won’t let you sleep. Our room faced the courtyard and since there’s a restaurant downstairs there was a lot of noise too. So sleep was compromised and when you are staying for 6 nights that’s not a good thing. Great place to stay for singles or couples for one or two nights, wouldn’t recommend to families with children.

Thank you very much for your review and for taking your time to get back to us. We take all feedback very serious, whether it is positive or negative.
Pleased to hear that you liked our New Nordic breakfast and our location. We are located in the city center of Copenhagen, close to almost everything, whether you want to visit the urban part of town called Noerrebro or need to use public transportation, you will find it only 5 minutes away. Thank you for complementing my colleagues in the front, they are working very hard every day to give our guests the best experience. I will make sure to pass on your kind words to them.
I am sorry to hear that you found the room too small for your family. Next time you should maybe try our Junior suite, where there are much more space. Sorry to hear about the inconvenience you have had with the restaurants. We have an agreement with the restaurant, that they are not allowed to serve outside after 11pm. If this was not the case, I am very sorry for that.
We hope we will have the chance to welcome you back.

Our first time in CPH and gave ourselves a weekend to see the city. Ibsens is in a great location near a station and walking distance from the tourist drag. Very eco like Denmark generally and staff v helpful. Room was small by UK standards but v comfortable, clean and well-maintained. The breakfast with a variety of cold options (and boiled eggs) was v good. Very much its own place than a bland chain. Also had local beers to try. Would happily return.

Thank you very much for your kind review and for taking your time to get back to us. We take all feedback very serious, whether it is positive or negative. You wanting to come back is the best recommendation that we can get.
Pleased to hear that you liked our location and our New Nordic breakfast. Our breakfast is made out of local and organic ingredients and we focus on sustainability in the process of making it. We want to give our guests an experience of the local food culture. We agree with you, some of a rooms are quite small, we actually call them Tiny and Small. If you want something bigger try or Large or Extra Large rooms or maybe even the Junior Suite, where you have a great view over the city.
We are looking forward to welcome you back.

The location is just around the city corner. Not far from the main train station just minutes walking. Not far from the beautiful scenery of the river nearby. The friendly staff and very helpful. The variety of Nordic bufet breakfast is amazing. The room is not too spacious for family matters.

Excellent location .. walking distance from all attractions and even if need to take the train, the main train station is 5 min walking distance and both main lines cross there. Great experience. I would recommend

Pleased to hear that you enjoyed it here and thank you for complementing our location. As you mention we are located close to a lot of the most famous sights in Copenhagen and then we are located in the Nansensgade area, where you can find small and local shops and eateries, definitely worth a visit.
We are looking forward to welcoming you back.

The hotel is in walking distance of all you might wish to see in the city. The staff are welcoming and the 5 to 6pm happy hour is very popular. There are a multitude of restaurants within close walking distance as well as a food market.
