Stayed here after a cruise and found the staff terrific, the location unbeatable and the hotel's hospitality outstanding. While we agree that the rooms are small by US standards, it was about the size of our deluxe balcony cruise room. The storage was adequate for the 3 days we were there. We did not unpack things we didn't need. The room had a hotpot for coffee/tea, but there was coffee, Cappuccino, tea, and hot chocolate available in the "common area" all day.

The bathroom was modern and functional.

Breakfasts were fabulous. The yogurt was the freshest I have ever tasted. The variety was great. The wine bar and evening tastes were plentiful, fresh and innovative.

When we were shown our room, the staff noted that they were not placing us over their very active bar area. Our room was off a trendy outdoor area that was off the bar. It was very quiet and had a great window, too that we could open for fresh air at night.

Can't think of a single negative about our experience. In fact, we probably stumbled on a price for the hotel that was in error. We checked it on numerous websites before booking, and the confirmation came back at the unbelievable price that was shown. When we checked in, they acknowledged that we got a great low rate and never questioned it. I am sure that not all businesses act as ethically.

Even if the special price had not been the price we paid, we would highly recommend this hotel. And as for the room size, we have a saying in the South that I just love, "Put on your big girl panties/big boy shorts and suck it up!" You will be sorry if you let something like a small room keep you from this great hotel. That said, this is not a hotel for families with children.

I stayed at Hotel Twentyseven for three nights in the beginning of june. This was second stay at this hotel and it was so much better this time, then when i stayed in january 2008.

Already at the check-in desk i noticed that there had been some changes. Friendly staff and an overall crispyness that I missed the last time.

The room looked the same and thats not negative, because this rooms really meets my needs of comfort and cosyness. However there is some improvement evne here, Roomservice! I love it.

One thing worth to mention is the free tapas they serve every night. Fantastic food for free, it dosent get much better than this. The coctailbar still makes fantastic drinks and are extremly helpful with tips of what to do in Copenhagen. Thums up for that!

Just spend a relaxing weekend with good memories!
Just in the center of the Capital of Copenhagen. 100m to Tivoli. 100m to the main walking-street. What more can you ask for????

The normal frontdesk is an opened area in the lobby which tells you the hotel is driven in a openminded way and this continues during the stay.

The Hotel is an old building made to a hotel but kept the original rooms which give very good atmospheare instead of the normally and borrow hotels!!!

Also the Restaurant is some special (very good furnished), where your have buffet incl. and free coffee all day long.......very nice!! Same place for breakfast.....which was satisfactory not much but the right things and quality.

The famous Danish designer Arne Jacobsen´s furniture such as The Egg and The Swan plus many more where placed in cool bar/nightclub where the service and drinks where 100% top-class to a low cost!!!!

Last but not least the Copenhagen Absolute Ice Hotel, just check it on the net......!!!!!

We really recommend this hotel.

This hotel is right where you want to be, within minutes from Central Station, Tivoli Gardens and Stroget. Friendly staff, very cool cocktail bar and rooms that are very small, but sufficiently equipped for a couple of nights stay. Ok, now the downside............it's very noisy! The hotel seems to lack any kind of sound proofing and you can hear everything. Ear plugs are a must if you want to catch any sleep. I'm surprised they haven't done anything about this yet as it must be a common complaint.

Super location just a two block walk to the town hall square and four blocks to the Tivoli entrance. Two blocks to the Stroget and right on a bus line. This is a trendy, Danish minimalist type of property with bright red wall units and no space. When you get a double room, that is the size of the bed, not how many persons it will comfortably accommodate. We upgraded to a two-bed room for $65 which was better if not commodious. Be careful about rooms on lower floors due to noise from the ICE Bar located at the hotel and nearby bars. Hotel has two elevators that are operated by your room's key card, sometimes!
Included in our room price were both a generous breakfast and a light evening meal with a number of unidentifiable food items along with soup, salads, fruit and cheese. Even though the meal was only OK it was filling and saved money. With bottled water going for $4 and .5 l of beer $10 you can just guess what a meal cost!
We found Copenhagen to be the most expensive European city we have visited to date. Saying this, we still enjoyed our four day stay with wonderful side trips to the Viking ship museum in Roskilde, and the outstanding Frederiksborg Castle and the town of Hillerod. We would skip the Kronborg Castle in Helsingor. We are still not certain the Copenhagen Card was truly worth the expense but it was easy to use for ALL our transportation (Tram, bus, subway and train), both in and around Copenhagen
Next trip we will look for another hotel for our stay.

With its Danish Modern furniture and design, the friendly 24 hour coffee/latte/ tea service, free internet and computers, and accommodating staff, this is a first choice hotel in Copenhagen. It is situated close to museums, attractions of interest, and shopping, yet does not claim the homogenized hotel-look or feel. We really felt as though we were staying in a place that could only be indigenous to Denmark. Yes, the rooms were a bit on the small side, but bear in mind that this is Europe. I consider any hotel room larger than my closet at home spacious! The biggest and best surprise was the appetizer buffet in the late afternoon. This served as our evening meal, as they served so many options, that our hunger was quickly sated. This was included in the price of the room. Overall, this was one of the most memorable hotel stays that I have had. A genuine treat.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel 14May - 19May, 2009.
However, in all of my travels this was the noisiest hotel ever. The courtyard rooms face a patio bar and the street facing the hotel has several noisy bars. On the weekends, there is extremely loud bar noise in the courtyard and in the street until 2:00 am. The City Hall clock chimes jarringly each 15 minutes from 8:00 am to 12:00 midnight - you may be able to sleep between midnight and 8:00 am, as long as your room is on the back side of the hotel, which faces the backs of apartment buildings.
The breakfast was good with a variety of choices. The evening 'tapas' are ample enough for dinner if you so choose.
All in all, a very good value if you don't plan to sleep much. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room rate, which essentially offers two meals a day, is exceptional for Copenhagen.
