“All about the location ”
Reviewed 10 October 2013 via mobile

We arrived into Copenhagen central station and could not believe how close the hotel was. It was no more than a two minute walk. We found the staff to be very helpful when we got there, and they were able to help with everything we asked.

The room was a little on the small side, with no fridge or kettle. This wasn't a big problem as there was a Seven Eleven store on the corner of the street, maybe 20 seconds away. The harbour area, Nyhavn was close enough too, around 30 minutes away by foot, and once you get to the main road you just need to turn right and walk straight. You can't really miss it!

This hotel is ideal for a couple of nights, and if like us, it is part of a bigger trip and is just a place to drop your bags and sleep then it is ideal. The size of our room was a compromise worth making for the location alone.

Pleasantly surprised with the standard. Reception staff welcoming and friendly. The room was large with a separate lobby and bathroom. The bed comfortable and clean linen. Cleanliness could have been better. Dusty pictures and dust in rooms. The only down side was the water pressure was so low. Couldn’t have a decent shower and no bath. The location is great and it’s so easy to find from central station. For the price it’s a good stay but basic. No hotel bar and you have to pay for wifi.

Rooms are small and clean enough but a little tired, some stains/wear and tear. Pillows are poor (thin and lumpy) but you can get extras at the front desk, you only get one each in the room. Hair dryer available at reception, but the only mirror was in the en-suite. Not the quietest stay I have had, roadworks and other patrons in the hotel provided early awakenings. Free internet at reception but you pay 50 kr for 24 hrs WiFi. Fine for a short break and when you only need a hotel for a bed. Breakfast was good although pricey, but there is a local bakery on the corner on the opposite side of the road and a 7 11 on the corner beside the hotel both of which can provide decent pastries, sandwiches and juice more cheaply.

This hotel was great mostly because of its location. It was less than a 100 meters from the train station and an easy walk to the pedestrian areas. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. It does not offer free wifi but there is a computer with internet access in the lobby. Breakfast looked good but a tad expensive. We opted to hit one of the local cafes in the area and eat with the locals. There is a safe in your room but there was a charge for its use which we found a bit odd.

Room Tip: At this point in time it would be better to be away from the street because of construction.

Really close to the central train station and many attractions such as Tivoli and National museum. Small room but clean and well equipped. Great price - without breakfast.

Recommend this spot. Some construction around there right now.

We have stayed at the Hotel Nebo before, and I'm pleased to say that it has only improved for the better. Reception staff were VERY helpful and friendly and the whole place seems to have had a bit of a make-over since we were last there.
Nebo is a budget hotel and as such does not offer all the facilities of a high end establishment.
what it does offer is a fantastic downtown location very close to the central train station and Tivoli gardens. Our room, overlooking the court yard, was spacious, clean and quiet (even with the widows open, YES the windows open!) and everything worked.
Nebo is a busy hotel due to it's location and I imagine this results it a little wear and tear. this is evident, but it seems the staff go to great lengths to keep things clean and presentable.
We booked our room On line for a substantial saving and our booking included a Free breakfast. Breakfast was very nice and the breakfast room was comfortable and inviting.
WiFi is available for a small fee or there is a computer and printer available to guests in the lobby.

Room Tip: Rooms are available with en suite bathroom or shared bathroom (at a lower cost) Rooms opening onto...
