We picked the Nebo for its location and price and were not disappointed. You really cannot fault the location as it is literally around the corner from the railway station, tram lines and buses as well as being an easy walk to most sights. Our room was a little on the small size for a four night stay but it was clean and had everything we needed. Whilst staying in winter would not be a problem (it had a large radiator), in summer it would be pretty warm. We had a small window which opened on to the inner courtyard. We stayed there in mid June and it was quite warm when we came home in the afternoon, so I imagine the room would be hot in high summer. Breakfast was not expensive and consisted of a reasonable range of cereals, breads, meats, cheeses etc. as well as boiled eggs, juices and coffee. A good base from which to explore Copenhagen. Only complaint was the expensive wifi although there is a free PC in the lobby.

Room Tip: If staying in summer it is probably worth paying a little extra for a room with large windows. Rooms facing the courtyard can be a little air less but are probably quieter than those facing the street.

As a base, this is a fine choice and very reasonable in price.

The staff were friendly and rooms were clean - perfect if you just need a place to crash after a day of taking in the city culture.

If you are looking for luxury, look elsewhere. Free wi-fi in reception and a central location made this hotel a winner for us!

Stayed at this hotel pre Baltic Cruise vacation. The cheapest hotel rate I could get in this very expensive city. The room was small but clean compared to the american standard. Location is perfect. Just behind the train station, and a walking distance to just about anywhere in downtown Copenhagen.

Room Tip: Make sure you include a free breakfast when you book. This city is very expensive. An ordinary breakfast will set you back at least $30.00 US dollars for two.

This hotel is perfectly located near the train station, Tivoli Gardens and the downtown pedestrian mall. The rates are affordable and reasonable for a downtown hotel.
We were on the 5th floor facing the courtyard. I would recommend the 4th floor facing the courtyard, which is quiet and there are more washroom facilities. The shared washrooms were clean, but sometimes all occupied on the 5th floor (only 2 located there). We went down a floor when that happened. Our room had a sink, which alleviated some of the inconvenience.
The breakfast was very good and well priced (about $10 CAD) in a nice dining room.
The staff were friendly and helpful and well able to converse in English.
The beds are not very good (too soft) and the pillows were the worst we have ever encountered, like laying on a small ball of fluff.
Even so, we would recommend this hotel to the budget traveler.

Room Tip: Ask for the 4th floor facing the courtyard.

Next to central train station; good value basic hotel; clean; bed OK and brought extra pillows on request; stand-up shower that leaked on floor - a minor inconvenience. Good breakfast buffet - yogurts, lots of breads, sliced meat, boiled eggs, juice, coffee - for about 70 DKK which is a great value in Copenhagen; Katrina at front desk very helpful and welcoming; unsecure place to store luggage (and lots of folks did); At entryway, must carry luggage up about 6 stairs, but once on main level, there is an elevator. They also have an inexpensive vending area which is a bit hidden.

Room Tip: Better not on street side or on a higher floor to reduce street noise; we had a family room - good size
