The Imperial Hotel is located a 5 min walk away from the Central Station. Staff are absolutely wonderful, caring and always with a smile. Rooms are cosy. Bed and pillows are slightly too soft but they gave extra pillows in the cupboard which we piled up so it wasn't too bad in the end. Housekeeping is good and things are replaced timely once utilised. You can walk to major attractions such as Stroget, Nyahvn and Tivoli Gardens within minutes or even rent a bike from the hotel. I saw alot of complaints about the lifts but although small and a little slow I actually thought they were decent. People need to be less critical and please do remember that you are booking a decent european hotel, not a big name like Four Seasons!

Just back from 4 nights in The Imperial. Great staff, breakfast lovely, very clean.

Location is excellent for Tivoli, Stroget etc.

The only issue were the beds, all 3 beds in the room were very poor, none of us had a decent nights sleep.

Come on Imperial, the bare minimum required from a hotel is a decent mattress.

Would I stay again? Definitley if the mattresses are replaced, it undoes the very good work the staff do.

Room tip: Try out the bed first

I spent 2 nights and the hotel is as always pleasant and friendly.

I stayed in a room on fifth floor towards (or above) the cinema. It was quite noisy until the cinema closed in the evenings.

Next time I will remember to ask for a different room.
It is nice that there is ironing board and iron in the rooms, but I do miss the minibar.

The rooms are not very well lit, but otherwise really nice.

The staff are always friendly and nice.

3 nights there coffee cups had never been clean. Bathroom sink had never been tidy. Coffee and tea complimentry in room were for the first night only. And the lady at the reception never gave me a direct answer.
The second star came from breakfast buffet which is good and the staff were very nice.

Skip this hotel. For the price, you can find a much nicer hotel that is only an added 5 minute walk from city center. Incredibly disappointed in this. The photos included here MUST be from at least 10 years ago.

This hotel is mediocre at best; at worst, it is motel quality for hotel prices. The double sized bed only came with two pillows. One for each person. Breakfast is not included, and an underwhelming buffet is nearly $30/person/day.

While the location is decent, the building is on a very busy block with many other hotels.

The decor is incredibly dated and the furnishings are old, stained, and worn (chair and lampshade in room were stained; chair was threadbare). Our room had a balcony. There was nothing on the balcony except cobwebs, and the lock to the balcony door was busted (quite literally broken and hanging off).

The room had a terribly inconvenient layout. There were no easily accessible electrical outlets. To use an outlet, an appliance had to be unplugged. There was no shower door or curtain, which meant water covered the entire bathroom floor despite attempting to be very careful.

The elevators were extremely small. There were three in the building, but only two were running during our stay. During prime check in and out times, it took a while to wait on the elevators because only two people and two pieces of luggage would fit.

Upon checkout, the front desk refused to give me a print out showing a $0.00 balance because I booked through a third party (hotels.com). I've never had a hotel refuse to indicate the room carried a zero balance. Incredibly unhelpful staff.
