This old warehouse turned into a beautiful hotel is ideally located to discover Copenhagen. The rooms are spacious, staffs are friendly, 3 minutes walk to Nyhavn.

We had a lovely stayover at this hotel, really liked the style, and the beds where very comfortabel. The breakfast is good too and the personal vey friendly. And then the location, it doesn't get any better then this ,Close to amalieborg and nyhavn.
would easily stay again here.
If there is a smal down side ,it is that there was no airco, and With the window open it gets to noisy.

Room Tip: try to og for the sea, harbour side.

This is very nice, renovated historical buiding.
Perfect service, very good food, generous breakfast.
Perfect location very closed to city center, very convinient, closed to a lot of great restaurants in Nyhavn.
Just for sure to be recomended for personal travel or business.

Kr350 c £35 from the airport in a taxi. Great location close to Nyhaven, waterside and cruise terminals. Within walking distance of palace, city centre and boardwalk it's a perfect location. Accepted the offer of a room upgrade (thank goodness) otherwise we wouldn't have got the cases in! Corridors are narrow as befits a traditional warehouse and rooms have original wooden beams, service in outside seating area was non existent in the evening so tables were left full of empty glasses. However it was lovely to sit under the heated umbrellas and watch the works go by. Beds are really soft. No air conditioning but a fan is provided .

Room Tip: Worth laying the upgrade if you have a lot of luggage

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel and we really like it. We found this time as the last time that the personal are very professionel and friendly. the rooms spacious and clean. We had beautiful views over the harbour. Great beds and bathrooms.
We also used the bar and the restaurant will make a review on that later.

This was our fourth visit to a city we really love so much to do and see and eat and eat...
The Admiral is a striking building on the waterfront the reception rooms bar area and restaurant are all really nice and modern The food is good not the greatest but good for any hotel. The cafe on the front with overstuffed sofas is a great place for a snack and drink and watch the world go by.
The staff are really helpful and informed thank you in particular to Christina on reception for making our stay so pleasant.
The rooms I suppose out of necessity are quirky. The standard rooms are small the junior suites are downright dangerous sounds great being on two floors but the stairs are precipitous and not for children or anyone of age. Showers over baths even in senior suites tells you it is about time for a refit.
The best rooms face the water of course but there is long term construction going on and lots of festivals that have very loud music going on until early morning. Check before you book and if you want to avoid the worst of the construction noise take a room facing the city. Overall just about deserves four stars for the quality of service and staff and overall ambience

Being a converted grain warehouse on the dockside gives this hotel a special character. Large wooden beams everywhere. Room was very comfortable (mind your head on the beams!). Both dinner and breakfast were good. It was also conveniently located to explore the city.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Next door to royal residence Amalienborg Palace and just a short walk from Nyhavn, this imposing 200-year-old former granary warehouse is one of the largest hotels in the city, with 366 rooms - but don't let that put you off. It may not be boutique but big can definitely be beautiful. Beyond the two cast iron canons at the entrance is a neon-pink bar (great for a pre-dinner tipple), while guests retire to rooms showing off classic Danish touches such as teak furniture, low ceilings and original wooden beams. Best of all are the panoramas across the water towards the city's shiny Opera House and Christiania: a view fit for royalty. ... more   less
