I like it very much, nice hotel, good rooms, the beds were not so good, but they were ok. The breakfast was delicious, with many choices. We came from Aarhus with the train, and it took us just 5 minutes to get to this hotel. There was one thing that was not so good, it was extremely noisy, but it was because they have a festival in the city the nights we were there.

Perfectly good Hotel for this kind of stay; few minutes walk from Central Station, friendly staff, good breakfast, clean rooms.
Rooms on the street side can be noisy, especially on weekends but courtyard rooms can be quite quiet. Good value for the money. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

I highly recommend Hotel Du Nord in Copenhagen, it is a very nice hotel, inexpensive, excellent placed close to Copenhagen centre. They serve breakfast, delicious breakfast. I love this hotel and I highly recommend it, it is beautiful, clean, neat, large rooms and beautifully decorated. They truly invest on it as it is in very good shape. I stayed there on the last week of April. Bon voyage!!

Copenhagen is very expensive, but this hotel has a very good price vs quality value. Very big rooms and nice staff. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Very close to the center of town and to the central station.

We stayed here on our return from the cruise ship - just around the corner from the Clarion Hotel Mayfair where we stayed before the cruise. The Du Nord is on a corner 1 block from Train Station - convenient but loud if you have a room facing the street. The hallway was noisy too, as it was wood with no carpet to absorb hall sounds. The plus is that we were able to check into our room early - at 9:30 a.m. as we had just disembarked from the cruise ship and thought it would be hours wwaiting to get into the room so we were lucky on that. The breakfast buffet was Danish continental - which was fine, but the breakfast buffet at the Mayfair Hotel was much better and the dining room ambience was nicer at Mayfair. Our room quality was fine and the bathroom and shower were very modern and nice. No Air Conditioning. We found a portable fan in the room closet and used it! We opened the windows for some air and breeze, but it was noisy!

Room Tip: ask for a room high and interior as the street noise is a problem and no air conditioning.

It's a short walk from central station, it is also inexpensive by scandanavia standard. It is acceptable for a short stay, and my single room actually is rather roomy. I arrived at 11am, but the room is not ready. I stored my luggage at the hotel and then proceeded to walk about 30 minutes to "downtown" Copenhagen, passing by the Tivoli Gardens and the pedestrian shopping area. There are some generic restaurants around the hotel, and the location is safe enough, particularly during the day time. However, what I found inconvenient is that unless you are proficient with local public transportation, I find the walk between the hotel and downtown rather tiring. On the other hand, the price is right. One can also travel by metro from the airport and exit in downtown, but the hotels there are generally more expensive, and the cobblestone streets are not particularly friendly to hauling suitcases. The hotel staff is nice and friendly, but the walls are thin. You can hear every footstep outside of the room. When I was there, a group was staying on the same floor, and they were yelling at one another down the hallway. Hotel is clean, with minimal amenities, but enough for a short stay.

The hotel is a bit older, but was very clean and the room was pretty reasonably sized. The room we were given must have been a smoking room as there was a smoking odor. We didn't bother with asking for a move as we were only there one night, and spent most of our time walking around seeing the city. The front desk was very helpful, the breakfast was good, fresh Danishes were excellent, and there was free WiFi. There were some strip clubs, but never saw any activity around the hotel. We wandered all the way to the palace and beyond. Found many good restaurants, cafes, most with patios within walking distance of hotel. And close to main rail station if that was your mode of transportation. Happy with our stay.
