Room was very clean. Lovely staff and good location. There was a problem with the mini bar opening in the room when I arrived but this was fixed promptly. There were plenty of tables for breakfast and the food was good. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Copenhagen.

We spent four days at Kong Arthur and were very impressed. It is a stylish boutique hotel with attractive decor, in the rooms and public areas. We enjoyed the breakfasts - although we didn't eat on our first two mornings as we had heavy lunch commitments, as our visit was partly to go to the top restaurants in the city. A particular highlight was the 'Cozy Hour'. From 5-6 pm each evening when glasses of pleasant red wine were served in the lobby area. We also visited the Spanish restaurant Pintxos and the meal was excellent with an amazingly lively and active maître D. The hotel is well situated with a shortish walk to the central area of Copenhagen.

The service was helpful, charming and efficient. We would certainly stay there again should be return to Copenhagen.

Room Tip: We asked about the different room levels as we were unsure and were advised that the beds are identi...

Dear guest,

Thank you for your review and kind words! Sounds like you had a great time in Copenhagen with top restaurant visits :-) Danish cuisine has improved heavily over the last decade or so - I am sure you did not go to bed hungry :-) Also, I am so pleased to learn you liked Hotel Kong Arthur and had a great stay. Thank you so much for sharing your experience.

I look forward to welcoming you back!

Best regards,

The stay at Hotel Kong Arthur was simply great. The employees were very friendly and the service was outstanding. The rooms are very nice, apparently most of them equipped with Jacuzzis. It were a great four days for us.

City break for my Hubby's 50th birthday, booked The Kong Arthur Hotel following much deliberation.
Wi-fi throughout hotel for guests, although you need to log in daily as this resets every morning.
Central Location- 5 mins from main shopping area and attractions.
Staff- All very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable of Copenhagen sights and restaurants.
Rooms- Booked a standard double, although upgraded to Junior suite, spacious and deco was contemporary and minimalistic although everything you needed was available.
Restaurant- Three restaurants adjoined to hotel, Spanish tapas, sushi, Italian all seemed highly recommended!
During our stay we felt completely relaxed and the surroundings and ambience of the hotel eased this considerably, especially daily 'cozy hour' where all guests are invited to partake in a glass of vino (nice touch I thought), also a constant supply of apples if you are feeling peckish.
Did not attend hotel breakfast, £17.50 pp (quite pricey) also there are funky glass markets 5 mins down the road that offer a large selection of fresh produce, juices and delicious treats.

Room Tip: Our room was on four floor, very quiet and no street noise.

This is a very nice, old, rather comlex building with many stairs (and elevators). We were so lucky to get a great room (524), with a perfect bed on the second floor and a jacuzzi. It was clean, and the staff was very helpfull and friendly. The breakfast is very good with freshly squeezed juices, smoothies, fruits, all kinds of breads, etc. The were just a few minor disadvantages. It can besomewhat noisy (I guess because of the wooden floors) and at the start I had trouble finding my way through the building. It was by the way very nicely located close to a metro station (Norreport Station) which is only about 15 minutes from the airport.

Room Tip: 524 but I guess it normally is more expensive than regular rooms

I stay at the Kong Arthur whenever I come, having switched over from its sister hotel Ibsens. The rooms vary in size, but my budget always means the small rooms. But it works well for one person. You hang your clothes outside the closet, over the suitcase rack. And there is a little cupboard with 3 shelves, a small couch, and a small desk. The room is bright, well decorated, and has the martha stewart simple life feel. The hotel has a small but good gym, a great breakfast, happy hour for beer or wine, a free certificate to use the spa, and lovely lobby where you can hang out with a friend. I plan to return, as it is always a relaxing and lovely respit.
