“Very good hotel”

It's a strong 4* hotel in heart of Copenhagen. Big double deluxe rooms. Very tasty fresh food. Smiled and helpful stuff.
It was a really pleasure to be there. On entrance there were fresh & tasty apples. I arrived at 9 and there were so many people and I must wait till 13 to checkin, but nice lady from reception gave me voucher code for free internet. There is also gym and spa but I didn't use it.

Room Tip: Double Deluxe rooms (second floor) is a backside view, but room is big and bathrobe is like a Jacuzz...

My husband and i had a short but pleasant stay at Kong Arthur, the room was spacious and clean with a tea and coffee making facility. The hairdryer and iron were a welcome comodity. We also were offered complimentary wine in the evening and likewise tea and coffee in the atmospheric spacious lounge late morning. I loved to have an apple from the huge fruitbowl in the foyer when leaving each time too! The hotel was very good value and would reccomend it to any of my family and friends. Definately a 4 star experience.

Room Tip: We had a room at the back of the hotel overlooking a couryard with little alcoves of tables and chai...

My husband, two children (15 and 12) and I stayed at this beautiful European Hotel during our first visit to Denmark. Nestled back off the street, the hotel was an exquisite jewel and a very welcome site to four weary travelers. The hotel is quite old, hence its charm and character and looks to be surrounded on either front sides with cozy apartments. The entry is quietly elegant and the front desk staff was warm, welcoming and very happy to check us in and point out various points of interest in and around Copenhagen. We had two rooms on the third floor. Both were small but very comfortable. I believe we had room 238, which overlooked the street and the park beyond. Our children had a room down the hall which overlooked the beautiful courtyard adorned with plants and flowers and several tables and chairs for eating or just relaxing. Both rooms were impeccably clean and very comfortable, but there is no air conditioning. We at first were concerned with this, but Copenhagen is relatively cool, even in the month of August and this was not an issue. Two restaurants are on premises, one Italian and one Spanish and both were excellent. But be careful! Copenhagen is VERY expensive. If you have ever been to NY or L.A., triple the cost and you're now footing the bill in Copenhagen! The lobby has a bar with 24 hour service and excellent beer. Coffee is available free in the morning and they also have a lovely breakfast buffet. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Copenhagen and would definitely stay here again. It is centrally located to many restaurants, shops and sightseeing interests.

Room Tip: Rooms on the second floor were nice, but be careful. The hotel is very large and has many different...

I booked a a superior twin room for a mini break with my Mum recently. We were both delighted with Hotel Kong Arthur. It's one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. Relaxing, comfortable clean surroundings, wonderful staff and a fabulous choice for breakfast. It made our trip to Copenhagen feel like a real treat. The room was luxurious, spacious and very clean. The reception and bar areas are also lovely and we both felt very welcome and relaxed there. One of the things that made a huge difference was the daily 'cosy hour' were you are served a very generous free glass of wine (often with another top up!) to help you relax. It certainly did the trick! I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. My only suggestion for changing anything would be to offer a thinner quilt or even just a sheet as the rooms were very hot. Sheets were provided as soon as we asked though, as was a fan. The location is also perfect, just ten minutes walk from the main station but nice and quiet. We found lots of nice places to eat and drink just a short walk away. I'll definitely come back if I ever return to Copenhagen!

Room Tip: We paid extra for one of the superior rooms and were not disappointed. Lots of space to relax and ev...

We stayed for a day/night upon leaving a cruise ship before early morning flight the next day. Hotel easily booked online in advance. Accurate online description. Upon arrival at 9am room was not ready but luggage was stored securely and advice/map given allowing us to walk into nice, pedestrianized city centre (10mins). We went to classic Nyhavn (20mins) at other end of the city centre.

Hotel was clean and bright throughout with pleasant front staff. The bar, at reception/lounge area was pleasant and well stocked with drink/snacks. Nice touch to serve a glass of wine to each guest between 5-6pm. We ate in the house Italian restaurant, very nice pasta/atmosphere (at Copenhagen prices!).

Our room (281) was spacious, triple window, with very comfy bed. Strange not to have any hanging spaces, although some cupboard drawer storage was available. Tea/coffee in room was fine. Bathroom was super with a Jacuzzi bath and wet room shower, very spacious. Only a small shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion available. I'm sure you can ask for more.

Recommend for a short stay in city. Front staff booked a taxi at 5am which arrived promptly. Thanks for a nice last day of holiday.

Just returned from a 3 day break in Copenhagen and this was the hotel we picked for our stay ,,and I will say from the start we picked well,,staff well presented, polite and mannerable nothing seemed to be too much bother..the hotel itself is very tidy and i loved how it was tucked up a small lane of a main street and that seemed to give it a secluded feel ,,all the main attractions were within walking distance,,and when we return to copenhagen i will most certainly be trying for a booking here,,one small grouch the room we were booked to was on the small size but never really posed to much problems,,take a bow kong arthur
