“Absolutely highlight of our visit--saved us $$!”
Reviewed 16 October 2013

After leaving Central Station and a bit bleary eyed from overseas travel, hauling our suitcases, this was our first stop-across the street. We were having Copenhagen $ Sticker shock (Coke in Central Station!) sent us into the shop. Scrumptious layered, featherly light bakery goods kept us there. It was our breakfast and along with sliced ham from the nearby grocery on croissants, our dinner as well. The size of the goods were much larger than US goods and filled us right up. The staff were very friendly and very patient. They are more happy with using debit cards (as are most places) than credit cards but are kind to take them. The only downside is if you want to sit at their tables, there is an extra fee. But I do have one question-How do those beautiful slender girls manage to work there and not gain weight? Guess I did it for them!

“Wonderful baked goods”
Reviewed 6 October 2013

We stopped here for a mid afternoon snack. I had a roll and some of the best orange marmalade I have ever tasted. My companions had sweet roll type baked goods. Not a lot of seating but enough for the amount of people when we were there. Very friendly staff. Decent prices.

“Pure Heaven!”
Reviewed 3 October 2013

This bakery was easily accessible! Right across from Copenhagen's Central Terminal Station and next to Tivoli Garden.
Everything was so fresh and scrumptious! The clerks were always patient and helpful and I tried as many new pastries as I could. Thank goodness there's a lot of walking to do in Copenhagen so I could walk off the calories!

“Tasty food, decor a bit drab”
Reviewed 30 September 2013

Dropped in here to pick up some lunch to take to nearby Tivoli Gardens. The Grand Danois hot dog was really good and very filling, and the Danish pastry was a tasty treat - both were pretty reasonably priced. The only thing that let it down was the surroundings in the cafe, which are a little basic and sparse, hence the reason we took our lunch elsewhere.
