So overall there was nothing actually wrong with this hostel. The staff were fine, although most of them not particularly friendly. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The WiFi was good and the social area was comfortable. The location is also good, just twenty minutes walk away from the city centre. The only real negative was the dorms themselves which felt like prison cells. Stone floors and walls with poorly constructed 3 level bunk beds (with no falling guards) and blinds that only covered half of the window. There was a good sized locker for each bed which was good and these locked using your key card. Basic breakfast of cereals, breads, meats and cheese, with tea, coffee and juice can be bought for 50DKK which is kind of expensive for what it is but probably the best deal you will get in Denmark for an all you can eat breakfast. Generally this was no bad at all, but far from the best hostel experience I have had.

Copenhagen is an expensive city to visit so Sleep in heaven was an affordable option; I had a bunk in a female 6 bed in the block that's 50m from the main hostel. It was very clean and staff friendly.
The location is away from the city, but the 66 bus takes 10 minutes at the most to get you into the city - I made the most of a copenhagen card to hop on and off public transport which kept costs low.
The hostel is in a hipster-ish suburb; was fine for wandering around, with a 7/11 close for snacks etc if the hostel doesn't have what you need. A lounge with books, pool table and wifi made socialising with others easy and being able to leave luggage after check out was a big help.

Not much needs to be said about Sleep in Heaven. The communal area is an interesting design, with plenty of space to enjoy there well priced drinks. (They were the cheapest we found in Copenhagen... and we were looking.) The area is extremely cool, the staff were helpful, and the rooms were light and clean. Basically, I've been to a few hostels now, and this is high up there with my favourites.

Looking for somewhere to stay in Copenhagen? Consider yourself slightly hipster? You've found your hostel.

In couple of months it will be 2 years since I've stayed there during my interrail trip. I liked the vibe of the hostel, the staff was nice and the place looked super fun. They have a nice common room with group activities and books. There is a lovely terrace outside and you can rent bycicles for low prices. The shared bathroom was clean, so as the rest of the hostel, but I've stayed in a room for 14 people I think and that was a nightmare. The beds were not too comfortable, people were sweating and caughing ... it was really hot in the room. Also the location is terrible and really remote. We didn't use public transport, because it was really expensive. This hostel was cheaper than the rest in Copenhagen, but I believe that is due to the location and not very new and modern equipment.

Room Tip: If you decide to stay here, rent a bike! It is a remote location and public transport is very expens...

It was a safe and relaxing stay at Sleep in Heaven. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful, which made me feel welcomed. The dorms and bathrooms were clean and pleasant to use throughout my stay (5 days!). You also get a personal locker where you could secure your stuff when you go out. It is absolutely great for value. I would definitely recommend it to others who are looking for hostels in Copenhagen.

We spent there three days. The hostel was clean and the staff were very friendly. I believe that our room was small but anyway we just spent time there to sleep. All areas are cool. As the beds were a bunk for three people it would be safer to use a better protection in highest one.

Thanks for a great stay! Relaxed and full of young like-minded "hostellers" even in winter. Was good value and well located near the station and the city.

Friendly, clean and good fun, would stay again!
