OK hotel and very central in Copenhagen near Nyhavn. Clean room, good breakfast. Travelled by car - had to use expencive street parking. No problems finding a parking place. Good value for Your Money.

Absolutely fantastic place, huge split level room with balcony.Hideously expensive but nothing in Copenhagen is cheap.Located a couple of hundred yards from lots of bars and restaurants.Staff are polite and efficient. The décor is a kind of minimalistic Scandanavian style. If you`re staying in Copenhagen and don`t mind paying this place is excellent.

A basic hotel for those who want to explore the city.A breakfast available with in the price which in Coppenhagen terms is very reasonable. The rooms are comfortable but not large.Staff helpful and friendly.24 hour hot drinks most welcome.Near to everything you want to see or visit.Would recommend this Hotel to anyone on a budget with plenty of restaurants within walking distance but remembering that this city is expensive.

I'm just back from a long weekend in Copenhagen. My friend & I stayed in the Maritime. Copenhagen is an expensive city - and our choice of this hotel was largely based on budget. However, we were also conscious of location, and a certain level of comfort etc. We weren't let down by the Maritime. It has a great location near the waterfront and about 5 minutes walk from Nyhavn with its multitude of restaurants (ok they're not cheap but it's a nice location). It was also an easy walk to all the main sights - we only used the train/metro from and to the airport. The room had a slightly unusual layout with the two single beds along one wall - but this left a decent amount of floor space for moving around. There was plenty of storage, and the bathroom was a good size with a decent shower. I can never understand why so many travellers get hung up on the availability of a bath - who takes a bath these days? I must prefer a shower only arrangement and this is what we got here. The wi-fi wasn't great but that didn't both me - again it's not something I NEED on holidays - maybe if I were travelling for business it'd be different. Good selection of food at breakfast - breads, meats, cheese, yoghurt, some fruit, scambled eggs & cocktail frankfurters (which were delicious). The breakfast room isn't huge so it was quite crowded on the first (Saturday) morning we were there, but was fine after that. A big plus is that there is FREE tea and coffee available all day - which was nice when we arrived back after a day of sightseeing. Copenhagen is a lovely city - there's lots to see especially if you're into castles, and old buildings. With more time I'd have probably gone to more of the art galleries or museums. Tivoli was fun - and a canal/harbour cruise is a must.

Room Tip: The street outside was fairly quiet so I don't think front or back made any difference.

We needed to be close to Operaen, and Hotel Maritime was in the right place. Also easy to walk to the town centre along the harbour, with good access to/from the airport by Metro. 24-hour coffee was much appreciated at our late evening arrival.

Location of this hotel couldn't be better. It is between 2 major touristic parts of the city: Stroget-Christianborg-City Hall and Nyhavn-Amalienborg. From this location, you can reach all touristic attractions by walk in 2 days. First room which we got, was very small with small double bed but receptionist offered us to change the room. We got twin bed room which was large and OK but bathroom needs improvement and breakfast should contain more various food. Staff in hotel are very professional and nice.

Room Tip: Room 209 is large with 2 beds.
