“Not a 4 star hotel”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 August 2014

Stayed in this hotel several times for business reasons. I had to pick this hotel due to the location close to the office. I do not see other reason to stay there.
I have been to several rooms, all outdated and not clean - dirt in carpets, mold in the bathroom. Hotel has no air conditioning or ventilation and can get really hot during summer!!
Restaurant has a selection of similar flavor dishes with an average quality. I had a option to take a dinner buffet - which did not really met my expectations. Unfortunately there is no other dining option close by.

Visited this hotel for work because it is walking distance to my customer. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. The hotel could use some updates. The lobby paintings are a bit creepy and there is no art work in any of the hallways or rooms. The restaurant was good and since it is the only option, we ate there for breakfast and dinner every day. The hotel shuttle is very reasonable and convenient. I would give the hotel 2 stars. The restaurant & shuttle service bumped it up to 3.

Room Tip: Stayed in 2 rooms, one with a single bed that was skinnier than a normal single and one with 2 singl...

This hotel is fighting losing battle as it is located right in the middle of an industrial area with no realistic options for dining or drinking nearby. The hotel itself is fine, the rooms are OK although the TV is quite small. The WIFI was chargeable so a big minus for this one. The restaurant was very quiet on the night I was staying but the food was not bad and reasonably priced for Denmark. Would I stay again? Probably not by choice, I would rather stay down town and travel in to Ballerup.

The hotel claims to be a 4 star hotel but it is closer to 2 stars. The interior is outdated and depressing. The room was small, poorly furnished and did not have good lighting to work with. The bed was extremely soft and the pillows are tiny. You receive a code for the internet but you can only use this code for 1 device. For another device you need to get another code. The hotel is situated in an industrial area where there is absolutely nothing to do. There is a restaurant and a bar but they are both not very inviting. The price is way too high for such a poor hotel

Very disappointing place. Supposedly a 4 stars ?? Rooms are pathetic, poor furniture, broken curtains, uncomfortable bed. The restaurant, for dinner and breakfast is just OK. Price was just outrageous for the value. Really I would not recommend to anyone.

I have spent in this hotel 7 days and still have 4 to go....

Most positive thing I can say is Internet is there, for free and it works (hence I can review it now while have some time)

Room is cleaned quite well, however I wonder what is it that its' carpet has not seen - it has certainly seen lemonade, pudding, stilleto heels (or something that punched holes in it) and perhaps several other less distinguishable things that all left its mark.
Bathroom, although cleaned daily, can emit nasty smells.

As some other reviewers say - this hotel is located in business district, so not much to see around and for trip to Copenhagen you pay through the nose. Ok, I am here for business, so not care too much for neighborhood, but would in exchange expect some facilities to help me work in the hotel.
Well...desk is just ok, no cupboards or anything to put your things but few shelves in wardrobe (already occupied by pillows).
Lightning is a joke - ok, creates nice yellow mellow atmosphere to doze off...but not to read comfortably or work.

There is absolutely no facility here to make tea/coffee in the room (only option is always go to the bar) - so if you are not the one who just drinks whiskey and vodka from minibar all the time - shame on you.
I live my evenings on tap water instead...

The biggest problem here is restaurant - there is not much around to go, so you are kind of stuck with them.
Breakfast is okeyish (some vegetables would be nice...scrambled egg is better warm than cold... coffee is disgusting but there is choice of tea....otherwise ok).
For dinner - they open at 6 on working days, if you happen to arrive hungry at 5, your problem, sit with empty stomach in a bar looking at elderly waiter barring the door to restaurant.
For lunch - well, had no chance to try it - am away on working days, tried to try it during weekend, but no chance - restaurant is closed from end of breakfast in the morning till 5.30 in the evening.
Lucky enough, there is this nice supermarket next door that can save you with knacker bread or sth.
Oh, and an important tip: if you order steak and like it medium, take well done (medium they take for 'dripping with blood raw meat').
Also, waiters do not always bring you what you have ordered as their English is poor. Better stick to pointing with your finger if you are not Danish.

On Friday there was some group or sth in the hotel and they organized a nice splashy party in the restaurant - meaning smell of wine in all corridors, noisy people just under your windows and worst of all, loud music long into the night just when you hoped to get some sleep after week's work.

On the positive side - receptionist is compassionate if you complain about restaurant being closed.
Room is warm enough in December, bed is a bit soft but ok.

Also, the train station can be reached in some 10 minutes (it is like 1 km)!

Room Tip: choose another hotel?

This hotel is a standard business hotel with a bar and eating facilities. It is functional and room size ok. Location is in an industrial part area but there is a Fotex grocery store next to it so you can shop for essentials without getting in a car however for pretty much anything else you will need to travel.

Reasonable motorway access and for the purposes of needing somewhere to sleep it is fine. Internet worked fine and a small workspace was useful.

I would consider using again although may not be my first choice.
