I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. A way too long. Breakfast is expensive, they do not serve any vegetables, no hot meals besides eggs for selfcooking. No service and plastic knifes and spoons. No forks. Plus for quality cheeses including blue cheese. My room had the smallest shower I have ever seen in my life. Room itself is also very small. I do not recommend it however location few minutes from a train station and Tivoli is an asset.

Location was good. Staff was friendly and breakfast was ok. But..room was untidy, carpet was filthy, there was a sock in front of the air-condition pipe (?), so you could smoke, shower seemed like there was mould etc. There was no hair-dryer nor the usual "hotel-stuff".

We'd booked a twin room 5 month in advance via booking.com, and just in case written an e-mail to confirm our reservation. Everything was sorted, they confirmed our twin room. We'd checked in and it tuned out that they gave us a double room. The receptionist told us they are fully booked but he was trying to sort out a room for us. Finally we were given a key to a new room. To our surprise the room was already occupied ! We came back to the receptionist, he made calls to manager, after 15 minutes we were given another room. Finally after around 1 hour we had a place to stay.

The room was absolutely awful. Dirty curtains and windows, dust everywhere, our clothes were dirty after taking them from shelves, shower was a joke ( water was everywhere, no shelves for your shampoo or soap, black mould on the tile grouting ), no safe box, no hair dryer, no telephone, let alone coffee facilities. They didn't change towels ( after 3 days we'd noticed a small information on the mirror, that they only change towels if you leave them on the floor ! - Because they care about environment, shame they don't care about their guests ).

We couldn't sleep there at all ! Noise from other rooms, banging doors, noise from the street, prostitutes, drug addicts, homeless people you name it, everything was on that street. Our room was on the 1st floor and we were shocked when we came back one day after cleaner had been in our room and noticed windows fully open ! ( because she left them open ).

That is the worst hotel we've ever stayed in. Overpriced and we didn't feel welcome there, some receptionists even didn't bother to say hello.

If anybody needs an evidence we enclose some pictures.

Really good location just in the center.
If you book like 3 or 4 months in advance the price is really cheap.
The room and the bathroom are not so big, but if you are visiting a city and you don't want to spend a lot of time in the hotel is fine. The room is clean.
The staff is really nice.
You can rent bicycles at the reception

The Hotel has an excellent location close to the Railway Station and the Tivoli Gardens. But it's surrounded by other Hotels, presumably of similar quality ,and also ,seemingly, within Copenhagen's red light district. While it's very obviously a budget hotel there is little excuse for it's easily fixable shortcomings. Firstly our room, supposedly a double, was,in truth, a single room with the double bed pushed to the wall so that access could be gained from only one side. The carpet was badly worn in places so that one had to be careful not to trip over the holes and bumps. The curtains were badly stained. The shower arm was so loose that one had to perpetually hold it so that the stream of water would not cascade directly to the floor. The breakfast offered was frankly abysmal. The two receptionists encountered were totally different: one was very friendly and only too pleased to advise us as to Copenhagen's attractions, while the other, in complete contrast , gave the impression that talking to us was, frankly, too much trouble.

Room Tip: Cannot think of any.

I choose the hotel based on reading TripAdvisor reviews. The hotel location was excellent, the room was small, but clean, and after a day of touring the city, we slept very well. Copenhagen's hotels are pricey and this is a good budget hotel. The only vice was that the receptionist called us a taxi and the taxi driver cheated us. Conclusion: Agree on a price, before entering the taxi.
