This is a good museum describing the history of Copenhagen and the various influences over the centuries. These include the power of the Church, the Monarch, and the influence of the trading economy. Then came the start of democracy and various social movements. Most of the exhibits have English translation available. There is also a room devoted to the philosopher Søren Kierkegaard. Worth a visit for those who like history.
