Situated in the centre of Copenhagen the museum presents permanent and temporary exhibitions in 3,000 m2 of galleries. May sound a bit boring, but it´s a really fun place when you are a family with childre, and the admission is free.

I do enjoy museums that offer alot of interactive displays and are focused on their exhibitions and displays. This exceptional museum offers postal service from the beginning of the royal comission straight through the modern day communications and technology. With a cafe on the fifth floor (pricey) offering wonderful views of the city. You will need many hours to enjoy this free museum.

I'm always looking for some interesting and a bit peculiar museums and this one completely fulfilled my needs :) I was happily surprised by the high quality of the museum, considering it's free. A lot of attention has been put into its making, with games, videos and a full interactive experience. It's the kind of museum I like, where you can touch, try and discover at the same time. The last floor with the cafe was quite impressive, as you have three games-exhibitions about communication. They decorated the rooms quite simply but it gave a futuristic flare that I really appreciated. Highly recommended if you have time!

We went to this museum as an afterthought as we had some spare time before heading to the airport. It was indeed worth a visit and there was a lot to see. It's free to get in as well so it seemed pointless that it's listed on the Copenhagen Card and they accepted our cards and scanned them. There are various cafés at the top and good views of the Round Tower.
