Nice hotel

A big, clean, modern and effective hotel (as a Scandic should be).
Nice and spacy rooms wich are clean, proper and includes everything that you might need.
The most outstanding thing regarding this hotel is the outstanding service level from the staff. I was blown away from the excellent service from the reception.
Easy to park ner by.
The only thing that was´nt as I thought is that the hotel is more far away from city then I expected. But that is not the hotels fault, it is my lack of investigation before.
I will be back the next time I am in Copenhagen for work. If it is a family trip I will choose a hotel in city

It is absolutely wonderful to read your review, and it makes us all so proud to read about how well received you were at the reception. Thank you for those kind words.

The hotel is situated on the outskirt of Copenhagen, but as soon as the metro across the street opens, we believe this will change completely. And even now the connections to the city with public transport are very good. Our favorite one to recommend being the ferry just 5-10 minutes away from the hotel.

We are happy that you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel.

A good meeting location

The hotel is 15/20 minutes from the airport by taxi and 10/12 minutes from the centre of the old town.

As a meeting location I have been very impressed. The food for conference guests has been so good. As an English person you dread a 3 day meeting as there are only so many sandwiches and cake you can eat. Here there has been so much healthy food and drink to choose from plus some naughty stuff. In England you have to search past all the bad stuff to get to the good stuff.

The hotel restaurant/bar is ok but a limited menu.

It is worth paying extra for a sea view as the rooms at the back of the hotel hear the main road when it is busy.

A good site for business but I would go into town if I was here for the weekend.

Less than basic for 150 €

Rooms are spacious and with wide, panoramic window. View? Railroad on one side and main street with 4 lines on the other side. Parking lot is large enough to find a spot. There is no kettle in the room, basic cosmetic from push-tube. Really, really too humble if they charge 150 € per night. Not recommended. Restaurant is expensive and service is slow and neglected - nobody is interested in you and people go to the bar to pay their bill. Area nearby without any interested spots, nothing, really.

Room tip: Forget this hotel

I am sorry to see that your stay didn't live up to our normal standard. Just beyond the railroad there is the view of the marina, which the hotel is named for. There is a nice walk alongside the water down there, and there are several options of getting into the city quick if one has the desire to see something more interesting. For example the ferry is only a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel, which will take you up along the canal, so you can see some of the most famous parts of Copenhagen.

Kettles are found in all the rooms of our superior category, and the push-tube is a Scandic Concept to minimize plastic waste of the one-use shampoo and shower gel amenities.

I am sorry that you felt the restaurant was too expensive and that the service is to slow. It is quite common that you visit the bar to pay the bill in Copenhagen, but the waiters are also more than happy to settle your bill at the table if you so wish.

I hope that despite this you had a nice time in Copenhagen, and that you would visit us soon again.

Good but a renovation could be needed

This hotel is very close to my company offices. That’s why I came here.
Lobby and bar looks trendy and attractive .
People are very polite and makes me feel comfortable since my arrival.
I use even the laundry service and everything was great.
Big breakfast with a lot of good choices.
Rooms are clean but I think they shoul be renovated
