This is an excellent hotel with helpful friendly staff and very clean with great breakfast. Located near forum tram station so very easy and cheap to get to the airport and back. Only short walk from city and attractions near Tivoli gardens. Great continental breakfast buffet. Would definitely recommend staying here.

I use Avenue often for both business and private stays. I really appreciate the kind and friendly service I always meet here. It is obvious that it’s a management priority, and it makes me and my wife feel at home.
The breakfast is a bit pricy but also very well assorted. Special requests (such as oat milk) were net with a smile by the staff.
And of course the daily wine hour is a hit!
The hotel is old and building/rooms do show some signs of wear and tear, but I find it acceptable for the price range. Improvement could be a few socket splitters so you don’t have to chose between bed lamp or phone charger. And a more routinely check of showers could also be preferable (leaks from shower head/hose, which weakens the water pressure).

The location of the hotel was ok, near to a metro station but it takes 20 minutes walk if you want to go to the center. The breakfast was very interesting, The size of the room was ok, but you could hear everything from the other rooms and the bathroom was not very clean. The personel was very polite and helpful. Compare to the price it could be better

DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL. Não reserve este hotel!
They gave misleading information on Bookings.com saying that they have a big double bed and this isn't true. Also they said by e-mail we could expect a big king size bed, when we were arrived at the hotel we found two beds together covered with a little matress and also two single duvets. Pillows were horrible, very skinny.
The cleaning was not good, tap in the toilet was dirty and also the carpet had stains.
Staff said that what is on bookings is not always true, but it's the Hotel's responsibility to make sure they have given the right information according to bookings website.
It was stressful to deal with the reception about this on the day before my wedding as they all didn't know the correct procedure to deal with this situation. the manager took more than one day to answer the e-mail and they did not give any compensation. They only offered a breakfast in our next stay in Copenhagen, but we won't stay there again.
Also the Hotel is far away from town and cabs are very expensive even for a short ride. We just booked there because we were told we have a proper king size bed.
The cleaners are super noisy in the morning its a very unpolite start to the day. The Avenue could be very noisy to sleep during the night, the sound isolation is not good at all.
Definitely it is a 3 star hotel, very expensive for very little. Very disappointed!

This hotel is not city central but is well located for wandering around Norrebro and Frederiksburg. The rooms are a good size and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Copenhagen is a small city and it's easy to catch a bus into town or take a 15 minute walk to reach the city centre. A few small things would make this hotel excellent rather than good, for example the pillows were small and insignificant, the shower was weak and it's disappointing not to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Overall, a good place to stay.
