This hotel is within a 5 minute walk from the main train station, and is a little out of the way from the tourist attractions, but it is located within a quiet neighborhood. Unfortunately my room was located on the inner courtyard and bar and it was noisy most nights. The room was clean and neat, although small. Staff were friendly.

Cabinn city was a horrible choice for a hotel. My friends and I left the hotel even though we had only checked in a few hours prior. The staff was nice enough but the rooms were horrifically tiny, especially for three travelers sharing a room. We had no where to place our suitcases without having to climb over eachother and our bags. The bathroom was a joke, you showered next to the toilet with nowhere to even place a towel to keep dry. We called ahead of time to see if fans were available and assured that there would be a fan. Once we got there, they were out of fans and we were out of luck. It was so hot in the room. We were advised to open the window to get a breeze, no breeze. Then we were told to open our room door to create a draft. It felt like dorm living with unreasonable hotel prices. We had to leave the door open to even have the room at a bearable temperature. We were not alone in the suffering as other hotel guests were sitting in the hallway and hanging out on the street. I would also like to add that part of the hotel is an apartment complex. Windows are facing residents who are very open and comfortable wearing nothing to bed and working out in undergarments. I would never recommend this hotel to friends or even an enemy.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and sometimes helpful. The location is excellent. The rooms were smart but way too hot. We had trouble sleeping because of the heat. We paid for a crib for our baby to sleep in but the room was not spacious enough to use both the crib and the extra bed for our 8-year old son. We did not get the money for the crib back and the staff asked us to carry the crib back to the reception. They could not fetch it themselves... We thought that was rather odd and not very service-minded.

Room Tip: Improve the air quality and the temperature.

Let's start with the positive, the location! 5 minute walk from main station and Tivoli Gardens.

I am aware that this is a budget hotel in one of the most expensive cities in the world, however, the rooms are incredibly small, and the bathroom is even smaller. It is a wet room more than anything, and water goes everywhere, hardly ideal when the room is this small. It also gets very hot, so ask reception for a fan.

If your looking for a place to leave your luggage and simply sleep then this will suit. If you need space, do not stay here.

This hotel could at least include breakfast in the room rate, but at least the wifi worked.

Room Tip: All rooms are shoe boxes.

The rooms are very small with a strange bathroom / wet room set up that had no drainage or ventilation. The shower controls were located on the basin, so any dry clothes you placed on it got wet. Additionally, once you’d had a shower you were left standing in a puddle of water as it had no outlet.
During our brief stay, we experienced an emergency incident. When I opened the window, it came away from the frame. The window (which was very heavy!) remained connected to its frame by two tiny metal supports. We had to hold the window in place to prevent it from falling whilst another member of my group went to report the incident.
When the incident was reported to the staff at the reception desk, they displayed no urgency or concern about the potential danger posed to members of public walking underneath the hanging window. One member of staff was more concerned about any possible damage to the cars beneath. They had no regard for human life! My friends had to go outside to advise members of the public to avoid walking along the pavement, as the staff were unconcerned about cordoning off the area. After a while, the Fire department was contacted. The staff, in relaying this information to us, behaved as if they were doing us a favour when in actual fact it was their responsibility. The fire department had to use a cherry picker to remove the window.
Management could not be reached for comment or support at all and when we asked to speak to the Duty Manger they claimed they could not reach them which prevented us from escalating this issue. After some discussion, they asked us to leave the hotel claiming we were scaring the other guests. Both receptionists swore at us, in front of another guest. This was wholly unacceptable behavior.
We decided to record the issue on our phones for safety and posterity and also in order that we could take up the matter with Management when they were contactable, at which point the staff told us to stop or they would call the police. I welcomed this, for our safety. After the police arrived, we were accused of swearing at the staff and threatening them, something which is entirely untrue and they declared that we were no longer welcome to stay in the hotel as paying guests. We requested a refund but they would only refund 2 out of the 3 days that we had originally booked. This left us having to find alternative accommodation at 10pm at night!
These particular staff members were rude, belligerent, unhelpful and aggressive. The hotel had no Duty Manager on hand to deal with any issues/emergencies and these windows are a safety hazard. The windows could be potentially life threatening if one of these poorly fitted items were to leant on, fell to the ground or on to an unsuspecting pedestrian. My recommendation is that this hotel is to be avoided at all costs.

This is really a budget hotel. Location is perfect and nothing beats the price in this very expensive city. You get almost nothing there except a place to sleep, but for one person and for a short stay it's okay. Cabinn-City's rooms were recently refurbished and the place became more attractive, especially when compared to other hotels of this chain.
Unfortunately, the last visit was a disaster. This was my first visit to Copenhagen in summer, and this July happened to be quite warm. Cabinn is NOT a place to stay in summer! rooms are very hot, there is no fan or AC. My room was on the first floor (Danish) above the entrance, and I could feel the smokers in front of the entrance as if they were in my room. Sirens from police cars and ambulances were so often that I felt myself in the middle of crime scene. The screams from the nearby Tivoli attractions are also very loud. The worst thing is, however, that in hot weather the sewer system of Cabinn starts to stink.
Obviously, hots days in Copenhagen are quite rare, but the hotel must do something for a comfort of its frequent clients.

Room Tip: Higher floors are quieter. Try to get a room with a balcony, will have more fresh air.

I was traveling with my mother and sister and we were looking for a budget hotel close to the city. This was the perfect option! The rooms are very small and it was quite tight with 3 people, but all we wanted was a clean bed and a place to leave our luggage. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Copenhagen and more interested in sightseeing, rather than a luxurious accommodation. The front desk was very helpful and they have a room to store luggage if you come early or depart later. I found this to be very helpful.
Overall, great place!
