We rented bicycles from Bike the City in Copenhagen along with GPS for each bike. It gave us several tours to choose from with a very complete and accurate explanation in each stop. The service was super friendly and the bikes were like new.

Do you want to have your best-experience ever getting around Copenhagen??
Here's where you need to go: in one of the oldest bike-rental shop in the city, you definitely have to try the revolutionary "GPS-Guided Tour" experience!
You'll get a smartphone with 3 different journeys you can choose from. The device (mounted on your bike) will guide you through this journey of 12/15 km (~5 hours) and you'll enjoy the best of Copenhagen just following a GPS! Everytime you get closer to an important sight, the smartphone will make a funny sound and you can enjoy a 5-10 minutes audio with a detailed description of what you're seeing!
I'd recommend everyone to experience Copenhagen with this fantastic GPS Guided tour! Thanks Anton!

Copenhagen is a bicyclecity, never seen before something like this before and it was a very good idea to book the GPS -guided - Bike the City - Classic and Cristiania - Tour at Antons company, located near the main station. The system is easy to use and biking is no problem in Copenhagen. Our party of six needed four hours for the trip, 30 € each, a good price - performance - ratio.

We were looking for guided tours to visit Copenhagen by bikes, but with our two baby girls, the schedule of the tours we found onlline were not suitable. We found that Bike the City offered GPS-guided tours, which was really nice as we were able to organize our day as we wanted. The GPS works very well, the tours were great.
Unfortunately, our 2 year-old daughter's foot got caught in a wheel after about 5 hours, it hurted her pretty badly and a tire went flat. We brought the bikes back to Bike the City. We received a couple of hours later an email from Anton, who wanted to know how our daughter was doing, and he offered us to come back to get bikes and GPS for a day for free.
If you consider visiting Copenhagen, you should definetely give Bike the City GPS tour a shot.

Hi Alain

Many thanks for your review. I'm very happy that you find the tour worth recommending as a great experience with young children, despite your girl's accident. Of course my offer still stands, should you return to Copenhagen some other time.

All the best,
Anton

The information on sites while biking around was great. I would have liked it a little if I could have been a free ranging biker and the information spots showed up on the screen when I was near. The route planning was very good though and the service at the bike shop was great. I went back to just rent a regular bike on another day.

Hi Brooklyntraveller42

Thanks for your positive review!
Perhaps you'd like to know that I originally considered the free-riding version you suggest, where information just pops up at selected destinations. However my tours are not just about the sights but also about the ride itself. So I've opted for a version where the routes are pre-defined to guide you along the most bike-friendly streets and hard-to-find alleyways and green bike paths. However, as you probably noticed, you are completely free to improvise and take as many detours as you like - the gps will always guide you back on track when needed. I believe this gives you the best of two worlds: local guidance + freedom to improvise.

Best regards,
Anton
