Interesting reading the reviews after we'd eaten here. We were in need of lunch when we popped in here. We enjoyed our lunch so much that we came back later in the week for dinner! Lunch was a vegetable stir fry with beef and prawns....the prawns were the star of the meal...and everything else was good. The goats cheese and chorizo sandwich was pretty fab too. The coffees were delicious the best we'd had in Copenhagen (at that time..try the cafe in the Black Diamond...extension to the Danish national library....not yet beaten!!). It was a very relaxing environment with very friendly staff. So we came back for dinner.....it was a lovely laid back evening with the owner eating there with his extended family. I started with deep fried prawns, absolutely delicious, fried in a very light batter, and then I had the post cheeks with pearl barley, wonderful. My companion had the potato and leek soup, followed by the salmon, all very good. They try to source their food organically.....and it does taste fab. We finished with a creme caramel each and an expresso.....we had a bottle of wine with the meal. It was a very relaxing evening with lovely food. Lots of people were popping in for a beer or a coffee..it seemed a popular place to meet.
