Very delicious food, cheap and yamii. the place is very easy to access, it is in the middle of Nørrobro. Very nice service and costumer handling. The food is authentic Ethiopian dish, if you are tired having same kind of food, go to made and prepare to be amazed.

Ma'ed was a much needed respite from the delicious but somewhat bread heavy Danish diet - a cornucopia of dishes served on flavorful ingira. The owner was nice enough to stay open a little late for us and the server was super helpful.

This was one of the best dinners I ever had in Copenhagen!
Although the place is not very fancy (furniture, lighting), it was a really pleasant experience.
The food was fantastic - we had the mixed dishes for two - which was a huge tray of ethiopian bread (almost like pancakes) with piles of different meat and vegetable curries on top. You eat with your hands from the big plate, which is really nice for couples or good friends.
Not only Ethiopian food, also Ethiopian people - so I guess it is really original.
Highly recommended!

If I could give six stars to this place I would. This is probably the closest you can get to Ethiopia without actually taking a plane and going there! Mouthwatering food, incredible people, super affordable and a wonderfully jovial environment that gives you a sense of the fantastic food culture of Ethiopia. What more could you possibly want from a restaurant? I love Ester and Esias and I won't stop recommending this place to everyone I know, because it's truly one of a kind!

I went here with 8 friends, some had eaten Ethiopian before and some were new to it. However, everybody loved it! It was great service, very relaxed and comfortable. The cofee was great so don't forget to order in advance!
