“Not muck of a tourist attraction but”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 October 2013

... the view of Copenhagen, Malmö and Öresund in general is spectacular. It doesn't matter if you go over (by bus or car) or under (by train) the bridge you still get the view. That said I guess it can be an interesting attraction if you're interested in bridges and or engineering.
There is a look out spot on the Swedish side, before the toll station.

If you're into Nordic noir, try listening to the soundtrack of the TV series Bron/Broen (the Bridge) while crossing. The song is called Hollow talk by the Choir of Young Belivers.

“Saves time but too expensive just as a tourist attraction”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 October 2013

This is the fastest way to get to Denmark and then back to either Sweden or Oslo. Be warned that the toll, at today's exchange rates to the US dollar, is $55 each way. It's not worth it as a tourist attraction, but with three in the car and time a factor, we kind of had no choice. The toll, however, was a good warning about what other items would cost when you go to Denmark and, especially, Oslo, Norway. The $50 pizza pie is no myth.

“A monumental bridge”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 October 2013

A monumental bridge across the sea from Denmark to Sweden. Nice experience to travel at by bus even with cloudy weather. Was there in May 2002.

“Greyhound or bust!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 October 2013

We took the Greyhound or Denmark's version of it (certainly more cleaner and comfier than the US version). We caught the bus to Malmo, Sweden to take over the bridge instead of taking the train UNDER the bridge so we can get a look at what all of the chatter was about.

We purchased our round trip tickets a the tourist Info center (their coffee and pastry shop was amazing, BTW) across from Tivoli Gardens/Hard Rock Café. The bus stop was located across from another Tivoli entrance and Grand Central Station.

We rode up front for good pictures and we were lucky the weather was perfect! The windmills in the water were beautiful to those of us not familiar with them. The bridge itself was a power to be reckoned with and it looks strikingly similar to Tampa, FL Sunshine Skyway.

All in all, we felt very safe going over the bridge in a bus in high winds!

“Very impressive”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 September 2013

One long bridge (8km or 5mi). I remember when we used to build stuff like this in the U.S. RailEurope threw it in free with my Scandinavia rail pass. This line also serves the Copenhagen airport.
