This is a brand new hotel that opened in May 2014 and follows the same concept as the original Wakeup Copenahgen: very modern, very cheap and very clean. It's perfect for when you just need a room for a night. Location wise it is excellent with walking distance to just about anything in the center.

It's not a romantic hotel and don't expect any room service or even a mini bar but for what it is and at its price level, it's really excellent.

This hotel is extremely well-located, close to Nyhavn but in a quiet road. Its minimalistic design is restful and the staff are very helpful. The rooms are small but adequate, and comfortable. I didn't try the breakfast but there are many good cafés in the area, and the Mexican restaurant just over the road serves good lunches and suppers if you want to avoid the crowds at Nyhavn. The metro stop Kongens Nytorv, is 5 minutes' walk away, (useful if you are coming from Kastrup airport)and the bus no 26, also very close, will take you to the cruise port.

Room Tip: Even on the road side, there is no traffic noise. All the rooms are soundproofed.

Can't recommend this hotel enough. It's right in the centre of town 5 minutes walk from Nyhavn and from Kongens Nytorv metro stop which links to airport and Malmo
Excellent choice for those on a budget, spotlessly clean with a minimalist Scandinavian design.
Good choice of shops and restaurants nearby.
Breakfast buffet good value too considering Copenhagen can be expensive to eat out

The rooms are a bit small but you have all you need in it and more. There is a very large tv in the room with great colours. We stayed for 3 nights and forgot the room was small because of the comfortness of it. And it is a 2 minutes walk from shopping area. Don´t park your car in the parking but in front of the door outside if it is possible. This is much cheaper. The pple at the reception were very helpful to us.

Wakeup hotel is located in one of the best spots of Copenhagen. Everything there is new and shiny (as for June 2014) as well as very well organized. The staff is very helpful as well.
The main theme is not to go there with expectations. The rooms are very tiny. For a single person it was just enough, for a couple it would be too squeezed. However, since it's brand new rooms, the planning was very good, so every spot is used in the optimal way and the electricity spots are located perfectly. Don't expect any fancy facilities, nor fridge or mini bar. There is also no phone in the room, but there's free WIFI all over the hotel and a large LCD monitor. Bring your own liquid soap and expect to pay 20DKK per bag you want to leave in the check-out day. The breakfast also costs something like 70-80DKK but I never tried it. However, when you are going there knowing all the above, it's a very pleasant experience, especially for a single traveler.
