The lights in our hotel rooms were broken, when we notified staff they told us they would be fixed the next day. The next day the lights were not fixed as promised, and were told they could not get into the room because we had locked it. This was not right as the room had been made up. We were told that the lights were not able to be fixed for our second and final night.

The pillows were lumpy, the walls were thin, the double room that we ordered was two single beds pushed together (with two single blankets).

The location of the hotel was fairly good, with a short walk to 'town'.

Recently wanted to find a cheap hotel in a good location, but when travelling to Denmark, especially Copenhagen, be aware, NOTHING is cheap!!

This is actually a Best Western, conveniently located and only a 10 minute walk from Copenhagen Central Station - which is a short train ride (and cheaper than taxi) from the airport. Location wise is pretty good - a short walk brings you right into the main shopping complex but if you want the older City, it's a taxi ride North which is actually not cheap. take the train.

As long as you expect no frills, this hotel serves a function. Rooms are basic. You'll get a bed, a table, a chair and a TV - and not the best decorated room. The bathroom again is simple - more of a wet room as the shower is not in a cubicle. The whole room is the shower! It wasn't dirty, but it wasn't pristine, with the start of mould growing within the sealant. Bed was pretty comfy, and you get clean towels so to be honest if you are on a budget and don't expect much, it's functional. I chose not to include breakfast, and the cost of the room was about £55.

A word of caution on room selection - the rooms on the back of the hotel have shared balconies which join many rooms on a walkway - which means access to your room from others is extremely easy. This could present a security issue as the doors are not very good that lead onto the balcony area and could be easily forced open so leaving valuables in your room is not a good idea.

Room Tip: Although the front of the hotel may be noisier as it overlooks the main road, they are probably more...

We stayed for 2 nights in Feb and were very satisfied with this hotel. Great central location and friendly staff. The cold tap in our room didn't work so they moved us straight away. Hotels here are very expensive so if you're just looking for a base this is perfect.

The service in the reception was good and polite. The breakfast was average and we missed some opportunities for children, that made us pay DKK 99 for two pure toasts of bread for Our daughter. It is an old and not upgraded hotel and that is os to speak ok because the price is good. The bathroom is the big minus!

I stayed in this hotel on a recent business trip. The pluses are the location, right by Vesterport station, which is one stop from Norreport, so you can be at the airport in twenty minutes, or connect with the excellent metro system in Copenhagen. The reception staff couldn't be more helpful, there were two different women who were both superb, a credit to the hotel. My room was on the 6th floor, it was small but fine for my needs. Wifi wasn't great but fine for checking emails. Breakfast was good for a 3* hotel, though the coffee was horrible. It's almost impossible to get a bad cup of coffee in Copenhagen, so they really should be able to improve on what they serve for breakfast.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back, the building backs on to offices, so there is no noise at all at night.

The hotel has a great central location. A short walk from the train station and S-tog. It's Los not a long walk to the sights in the morning, the rooms are ok. Not brilliant, but not bad either. You get what you pay for. Sadly there are no tea or coffee facilities in the room, but it's not the end of the world. Breakfast is a decent buffet. At the end if the day, you don't visit a city to spend your day in a hotel room!
