We sat at an outside table, on the canal-side, on a sunny Friday evening. The service was excellent. The waiter, a Gran Canarian, had spent a lot of time in the UK and he was very attentive. His advice on wine choice was great. For main course, my wife had the steak while I had the Argentine Grill. The meat was beautifully cooked and the waiter's advice to try Chimichurri sauce rounded off my Grill perfectly. Dessert was superb.
This definitely ranks among my most pleasant Restaurant experiences. It was expensive by Scottish standards, but as others have already said on here, eating out in Copenhagen is not cheap. The quality of food and service justified the price. If you want a relaxing experience, and a good laugh at antics of the amateur Captains in the hire boats on the canal, make sure an outdoor evening meal at the Asador is on your intinerary.
