The food is absolutely gorgeous and everything is home cooked by Rita, to a very high standard indeed. There is a wonderful selection from savoury pies quiches and soups to a large selection of mouth watering cakes, tray bakes and scones all served with meticulous attention to detail and care. Alan and Rita are always full of fun and joviality and are always a joy to meet. The Coach House is open every day of the week except for a Friday and Monday. A word of warning. There is another cafe in Elsdon called the "Old School House / Impromptu cafe”. This is only worth a visit if you don't have any taste buds.
I can guarantee once you visit the Coach House you will become a regular visitor.
