The Bird In Bush tearoom was and excellent find this weekend. We were touring round Northumberland and came across a beautiful little village called Elsdon. We spotted a quaint tearoom called the Bird In Bush with a welcoming look to the place. We went in and found a hidden gem. Lovely oak beams, massive wood burning stove and lots of seating space. We took a table by the window which has lovely views across the tree covered green and ordered from the very pleasant lady waitress. Wow! the food was scrummy to say the least, we had the best quiche we've tasted and followed with a excellent piece of strawberry and cream cake each all washed down with some very good coffee.
The whole experience of the Bird In Bush tearoom was excellent and we would thoroughly recommend anyone visiting the Northumberland area to call in and enjoy the great food and lovely atmosphere. You can even have a glass of wine of ale brought to you while your eating from the ajoining bar.
A brilliant discovery, which we will definitely be visiting again when we come back to Beautiful Northumberland.
