My boyfriend and I stayed at Heywood Hall for my 21st birthday back in June. We were going to alton towers and needed a close hotel. This was perfect. The rooms/mini flats were beautiful. We stayed in the Victoria Suite, with a lovely 4 poster bed and good size dining space. The suite came with a kitchen and a full selection of fresh Ingredients to make your own cooked breakfast. Also we were provided cereals, crossiants and fruit juice.
We felt very welcome and had a lovely welcome from the owners. The stay also included use of the outdoor hot tub and sauna. Which was a little added relaxing bonus. The hotel is about a 5 -10 minute drive from alton towers. Was perfect for couples and families. Highly recommend it to anyone.

Heywood Hall is a large house about ten mins from Alton Towers.
We had the Elizabeth suite which is basically an apartment, for our family of six. We had a huge bedroom (complete with disco lights!), separate bathroom and shower room, and a well equipped kitchen. This was stocked with high quality breakfast food, so we could self cater. There is also a Sauna and Jacuzzi! The owners were lovely as well. I can't speak too highly of Heywood Hall and its hard working owners!

Room Tip: The Elizabeth suite has TV, Playstation 2 and disco lighting!!

Your comments are a great help to us and future guests. The Elizabeth suite is ideal for families who want to be together. We are glad you enjoyed the local sausages, eggs and bacon, we try to source locally to support the community. We hope to be able to welcome you again soon.

We totally loved our stay at Heywood Hall, we were welcomed from the start by owners Alison and Joseph. The suite was ideal for us as we had two teenagers that enjoyed the separate room from us with their own bathroom... The hot tub was a fabulous extra which was enjoyed by all.

The breakfast stocked up daily was great... So much variety and catered for all.

We all had a fabulous holiday at heywood hall and will be looking to book again :)

Thank you for such a lovely holiday x

Thank you for your review it was a great pleasure to look after you all. Your tips about the local ice rink tickets have been passed on to other guests, thank you. We look forward to welcoming you back again in the future for some much needed R&R.

We stayed here in July as we were spending two days at Alton Towers. This place was a little hidden gem. Great value for money, only two minutes drive from Alton Towers and with a pub just down the road. WIshed we could have stayed longer. We booked the Sarah Suite which had two bedrooms, one with en suite, lounge/kitchen etc. The owners stock your fridge with breakfast items such as bacon, eggs, sausages etc. All in all it was fabulous value for money. Every little detail was thought of. Almost don't want to share this review as more people will surely use this making it difficult for us next summer! It was immaculate, large and airy and the kids loved it.

Thank you for your review. Teenagers and parents really appreciate the separate bedrooms with their own TV and DVD player, privacy for them but parents can still keep an eye!! We are glad you enjoyed the sausages etc, they have been a big success this year. The staff will be so happy to read your comments about cleanliness.

We staying in the Rebecca Suite for 2 nights for my partner's birthday. We chose this hotel based on the excellent reviews and proximity to Alton Towers. It is a beautiful property - the owners were warm and welcoming on arrival, showing us to our room and explaining where things were locally. The room was very nice. The kitchen was well stocking with lovely fresh farm shop produce; sausages, bacon and free range eggs - delicious. The hot tub in the courtyard was lovely after a long drive. Joeseph recommended The Tavern for an evening meal and to pre-book as it gets busy. We did so and what a fantastic meal we had! Thanks for the recommendation! I would also like to thank you both for the birthday banners you put in our room and chocolate cake - very thoughtful and much appreciated.
