As being a both a foodie and a frequent traveller I take every possibility to survey foreign kitchens and during the past years I have compared them all with the hidden treasure I have found at home. Since Johan and Frida engaged in this small and genial restaurant where ingredients is treated with care and respect, Matildas is my benchmark. There was no surprise that they were nominated for the award restaurateurs of the year as well as the score in the white guide. I find it slightly disappointing, however understandable that the hidden gem of mine is revealed for others.
If you can get a table, do not hesitate, you will be treated like a true guest and will have fine dining well worth the name compared to any qualitative restaurant.
