Overall the hotel is pleasant and comfortable.
The parking arrangements are a major weakness. - The recommended multistorey car park cannot be accessed after 2200 until 0600 and has to be paid for.
The on-street parking is complex and costs 60- 90 SEK per day except sunday when it is free.
There is an expensive parking trap on the road with the church, immediately next to the Hotel. Park less than 10m from the corner and you will get a 700 SEK parking fine, there are no warning lines or signs.
That is only half the story. The address on the fine ticket is the local Police Station. You will have to wait in line to be told that you cannot pay the fine at the police station.
The ticket asks you to pay by bank transfer - unfortunately the account detail shown is not enough to make a payment from a none Swedish account. You will have to go to a Swedish bank and make a payment over the counter.
If you have a hire car and do not have time for this banking expedition because of flights etc. The 700 SEK fine will be taken from your credit/debit card by the Car Hire company plus a handling fee. It will make the night at the hotel twice as expensive!More
