I came to Ängeholm on business. We stayed in a nearby hotel that was not so impressive. My coordinator had booked a dinner at this restaurant for the evening and we were very impressed. You have to understand that this area is out of season in November, so the area is pretty desolate. But yet, this place is poised. Their menu is ambitious and well executed. I had steak tartare followed by iberico pork cheeks. I could have been in London. The standard is very high, compared to the population. We had a chat with the chef and his inspiration is the French Laundry in California. Well done !
